“Absolutely spectacular! We came here twice on our first trip to NYC because it was just perfection, possibly our favorite food in the city, and we went to to several places. We paid complements to the cook who makes your dish fresh and with prime ingredients.“

“I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday, and I just want to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in my eight years of being in New York City. I'm a huge fan of this place not just because of the food, but because of the people behind the plates: the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. Special shout outs to Ronald, Anthony, Harley, and Kalvin, for going above and beyond and making this evening special and one I'll remember for a long time!“

“Got the fresh tagliatelle pasta and grilled artichoke in olive oil at the marketplace. Did not dine in!
Got to say the food is delicious but the prices are quite high.
$28 for a jar of artichoke
$8 for the fresh pasta.
Their sandwiches looked good though so would be back to try that !!“

“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.“

“The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waiter shared that many of the dishes were his grandmother's recipes, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-visit for authentic Italian cuisine in New York.“

“We had a great experience learning how to make pasta! The food was so delicious. This would be something fun to do with a group or family members. Our waiter Mica was fantastic as well as the chef who taught us Anthony. Thanks guys for a fun night in NYC!“
“La Trafila is an absolute gem for anyone who loves real Italian pasta. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the passion and precision behind every strand of pasta they produce. This isn’t just a pasta shop — it’s a celebration of Italian tradition, texture, and taste.
What sets La Trafila apart is their dedication to freshness and authenticity. Every shape, from the delicate tagliolini to the perfectly ridged rigatoni, is crafted with care using traditional bronze dies (trafile in Italian — now you get the name!). The result? Pasta that holds sauce beautifully and cooks to perfection every time.
Whether you’re a home cook, a chef, or just a pasta lover, this place is heaven. Their seasonal specials are creative and delicious — think truffle-infused tagliatelle or pumpkin gnocchi in the fall. And the team? Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and proud of their work, as they should be.
La Trafila is a rare find in New York: a place where quality, tradition, and innovation meet. Once you try their pasta, there’s no going back.
Bravi!“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“We came all the way from London for this. They say Brooklyn is the home of pizza so this was our first stop. Service was great as we walked in. Such a cool local gem. From the art on the wall to the antique whisk.
Sooo much choice but if you like chilli like me go straight for the eggplant chilli (which we tried on the house). Everything was fingerlicking delicious from the meat ball topping (which my kids picked off and ate first) to the plain cheese and other speciality pizzas we had tried (mushroom, pesto and burrata/honey). Im glad we sat in 20 mins traffic from Bed Stuy. 10/10
P.s. I have no pictures cos we ate it all :)“

“Figlia is hands-down my favorite local spot. From the first sip of the Purple Rain cocktail to the last bite of the cacio e pepperoni pizza, I’m completely obsessed. The salads & pastas are always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. And the staff? They treat us like family every time we come in. It’s one of those rare places that just gets it right—every single time. Love you guys!“

“I heard about this restaurant on tik tok and decided to take my mom here for Mother's Day! I was expecting to do brunch, however they were doing a strict prix fixe Mother's Day menu, which were more lunch-based options. Although I was disappointed with that—the service, ambiance and food made up for it and exceeded my expectations! The clams and salmon focaccia are to die for! So are the pizza and cocktails! I got the Bianca pizza - DELISH & the amalfi cocktail was chef's kiss! The staff was so attentive and accommodating and I can't wait to go back. Shout out to Michelle for making my first experience so amazing! They also have valet parking as well.“
“Delicious fresh homemade italian specialties! From their bread, cookies, fresh pastas, olives, cheeses, sausage the list goes on and on. Charlie and the entire staff truly treat you like family! Highly recommend 👌🏽“
