Amaya Indian Cuisine Reviews
The food was so good! There were spicy dishes, not so spicy, veggie, meat, kosher, gluten free, everything - and the dessert was delicious - gulab jamun, the sweet pastry balls in syrup. And the service was excellent.
I'm sorry but if you want Indian Food you can go buy it pre-made at a store or buy the sauce in the jar and cook it yourself for the $20 they charge for one small ounce of a bowl with the room temperature water ... Amaya Indian Cuisine offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious shrimp and chicken dishes. The ambience is lovely, and the staff is friendly, giving great recommendations. For those who appreciate Indian flavors, this place is a must-visit. However, some find the prices a bit high, with dishes like Makani chicken being expensive for the portion size. The garlic naan was average, and the rice could be improved. Despite some mixed reviews, many customers enjoy the food and hospitality, feeling a connection to traditional Indian home-cooked meals. It's a go-to spot in Rochester for authentic Indian cuisine.
