I’m never disappointed by their fish fry. They’re large is a bargain and very tasty Yummy 😋
Counter service was mediocre, staff were not very friendly and seemed annoyed that we had never been to the restaurant and weren’t familiar with the menu. They were not helpful with offering any information or suggesting anything to us as we tried to navigate the menu.
Plenty of seating, high chairs were all dirty.

Bill Gray's Irondequoit is a Rochester tradition still going strong. The cheeseburger is great, and the fish fry is a must-try. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting smell that reminds some of a grandparent's house. Customers have noted that the food comes out in a reasonable time and tastes good, even if the service can be hit or miss. Recent visitors appreciated the perfect fish fry with fries and baked brand sides, as well as two burgers and extra fries. Staff are generally friendly and accommodating, with some employees going out of their way to make a positive impression. For example, a young staff member recently made a customer's day by wishing them a great rest of their day, which helped turn a negative mood into a positive one. The Abbott's ice cream served is excellent, adding a sweet touch to the meal. Despite some issues with rude cashiers and limited communication at times, many find this spot a good place for friends and family to gather and enjoy a meal together.
