“First time back to Chortke after the remodel. Loved the menu and the beautiful new look. The food was delicious and our server, Josh, was personable and professional. It was a pleasure to dine there.“

“Shared a pizza and a salad on a date night out. Salad wasn't the one we originally ordered but it was okay. Pizza was solid. Unique area. (Village Gate) Service was excellent. If we weren't in a hurry we'd probably have reserved early and ate at standard table instead of the higher chairs near the bar.“

“It was apparent that the new owner Vickie wants to change the whole vibe and not for the better. She could care less about accomadting you with options & if you have any food allergies. I do not recommend Nosh, not the same restaurant and feel its a turn for the worst. One out of the four meals one was acceptable we had 12/14/2023.The waitress very sweet but felt she was as frustrated as we were. Vickie the owner made no effort to accommodate us and was almost rude.I will pass this along, is a small coummiity in Rochester. Any postive reviews you read are prior to Vickie taking over restuarant.“

This was the first time that I’ve been out to eat in a while, when I didn’t have to worry so much about compromising flavor, in place of excessive dairy and meats. “We planned a special dinner party for ten with the expert help of Mariel, who accommodated all our requests in advance. It was delightful to work with her. Sarah was our server that night and she paced the evening perfectly, with care and enthusiasm. The dining room was busy with a happy vibe throughout the restaurant. The manager Melissa took time to speak to me too. Our friends raved about the delicious food and creative cocktails. A+ experience!

“What an absolute gem! 💎 the best food (tapas) and wine selections in the area. They offer local to international wines, and the food is made to order and cooked to perfection! We’ve been twice and are going back with friends to share the experience. Our first time was taking our daughter there before she moved to Spain 🇪🇸 and again for our anniversary 🍾🥂. The shaved asparagus salad, grilled octopus, duck, corn dog and chicken shawarma were all excellent! I can’t wait to go back to try more!“

“All aspects of our dining experience were excellent; food, wine, service, atmosphere. Their menu is fairly brief but they put attention into each dish and it shows. We had the olives, both menu salads, the gnudi, and the Sunday sauce.
I make a Sunday sauce I've been refining for years, and tasting theirs has suggested a new approach for me, just great. The bill was very reasonable considering the quality of the experience.
Angelina's is a real gem, a terrific upgrade to this location.“

“We were there in March for the Billy Joel tribute band and dinner. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. Loved the cool decor and plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.“

“Great beer as always! Good selection from IPAs to sours to stouts. I haven't had their food in a while, but nice never been disappointed and they usually have great vegetarian options!
Swiftwater is fairly family-friendly with changing tables in both restrooms (though I can only vouch for the ladies' room, where it's in the accessible stall!) but no high chairs that I've seen.
In terms of accessibility, there are no motorized doors so some folks may need help getting in, but there are also no stairs to manage.

Vegetarian options: Always at least one great-looking main!

Kid-friendliness: Changing tables in both restrooms, no high chairs, no kid-specific area but it's very casual and staff have always been great about us walking our baby around

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, but the main entrance and bathroom doors are not motorized which may make it difficult to get in.“

Will completely change your mind about a hotel bar. Great Jazz and a patio in better weather. One of my favorite bars in Rochester!“

“Just when I thought you couldn’t beat their fizzy cocktails (we loved the Bitter Sea & French 75) - the gin martini was one of the best I’ve ever had, complete with a lemon twist & punchy onion garnish. 5 stars for friendly service, a great atmosphere & delicious rillettes, charcuterie, bread & mussels. I can’t wait to return & try some more menu items! Thanks to the Cure Crew for a great night out!“

“What a cute bar in this tiny airport! And the owner is a gem. We had a long wait for our flight that kept getting delayed and Giuliano (I think that’s his name?) was so friendly! He came to chat and get to know us, told us about the beers he has, and was just overall a warm and gentle guy.
We’ll stop by here anytime we fly out!

Cool atmosphere but a bit small with not a lot of waiting space and since they don’t take reservations, it was a little cramped at times with standing room only while we waited 30 min on a Sunday evening for our table. The experience was worth the wait though and overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely return!“

“Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“

“Ate there last night. Service was good. Manager Julie super friendly and welcoming. 3 of us had fish fries, 2 battered, 1 breaded. Large portions but a bit overcooked. Coleslaw portion small though. Broccoli with garlic butter had a topping that was a bit salty until I mixed it up. Delicious. Super attentive waitress. Never had to ask for a refill of ice tea she'd bring it upon noticing it was getting low. Wedge salad ginormous!! Almost entire head of lettuce!! Friendly staff and good service. Definitely going back for a 2nd try on the fish.“

“Went here for the first time recently to grab a quick lunch with a friend and loved it. Such a cute little spot with great vibes - I imagine it can get really busy during a dinner service - I had their Mediterranean mule and love it! Their take on having a lot of "Mediterranean diet" options was great. Will definitely be returning for brunch or dinner soon hopefully.“

“We had a 75 person baby shower at Barnard Banquet Hall on 3.16. A wonderful event put on by Stacey & Dave and their wonderful staff. The food was a 10/10. This event space is a perfect space large enough to fit 200 people. The decor inside is updated & beautiful. Bathrooms were clean & staff was so friendly. The price is incredible for all that you get included in your party package. We can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you so much for making our beautiful baby shower one we will never forget!!!“

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had.
