“Another wonderful meal at The Cove. Brunch was delicious (I had the avocado toast and I added a poached egg-- perfectly cooked), service was friendly and attentive, and we had a lovely table overlooking the lake on a sunny morning. We did not feel rushed, and our server (Emily) went out of her way to make sure we had a pot of hot coffee right away. We'll be back!“
“Overall our experience was great. The food is a little expensive but that’s somewhat standard here in the Finger Lakes. Everything we had was great, and the service at the table was really good. The only real negative was that we had a reservation for 5 and they put us at a 4 top with an extra chair. Normally I wouldn’t care enough about this to mention, but immediately before we were seated they put a party of 4 at a 6 top. Again mildly frustrating but not nearly enough for me not to recommend them, and I certainly plan to give it another shot next time I’m in the area.Parking: It was a bit difficult to find from the parking lot as you have to go through The Lake House, but there are some signs that get you close enough that you can find it.“
“Picked up our take out last night: wings, home made chips, salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. I haven't had wings that good in a long time. Mine were plain, theirs were flavored, but everything was absolutely delectable. Many kudos. I will order again from them.Parking: Parking was interesting. The place is near railroad tracks, and there's no clear indications of where it's okay to park. But no one complained when I left the car near the building.“
“Not usually one to review but I found it extremely helpful when I was searching for a hotel. Coming from the US, I expect a certain standard and this checked all the boxes. Safety; security was on point no loitering, etc and key card gave you access to only your floor. I got a standard room with a balcony and wonderful view. I picky about bathrooms. It was on point. Hot water, water pressure, decor. Price point way better value than the higher priced options. I'm not much of a breakfast person but there were more than enough options (I'm not vegetarian).“
“Nice pub just off Rt 20 and just outside of Canandaigua. This place looks fairly new. It has a large indoor area and hosts bands on certain days. The bar is huge, with about a dozen or so brews and ciders created on premises. Brews are priced fairly, about 6-7 dollars. I had a cherry stout, which was a bit too sweet for me. Pretty large menu at around $16.00 per meal: salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. Did not eat there, so can't comment directly on the food. I would highly recommend checking it out - especially if you have a designated driver so you can sample more beer! Oh, and staff were very pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating in nice weather. Parking lot is a moonscape, however.“
“We wife and I decided to check out KIX on Main after searching for restaurants in the area. We decided on visiting after being impressed with the menu. I made reservations online, which was really easy. I liked that someone texted me to confirm we were still coming. Though we booked a table at the window, it was crowded and the man who greeted us offered to move us to the rooftop. We liked this a lot. The server was friendly and quick. My wife had Xan's Chicken French and I had KIX some balls. Both were delicious. We had wine from a local vineyard. Great that locals are sourced. All in all, we enjoyed the whole experience and will happily revisit when back in the area.“
