“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“First time at Thurston Seafood after an airport drop off of a friend. I have a love for seafood ~ fried being at the top of my list. I also grew up having kin that knew how to prepare and cook fresh seafood. It’s all about the coating when fried. You need just the right amount of seasoning to bring out the flavor, not overpower it. My ocean perch and seafood was cooked just right, but it was missing something. I found it to be a bit bland (but still good!); the same w/the french fries as they needed just a touch of salt. I think a light hand w/some seafood seasoning mix would have made the generous portioned meal perfect.
The woman that took my order was very nice. The place appeared to be quite clean (it is take out only), and there was a fairly steady steam as I ate my meal in the parking lot, finishing just before 5:00 pm.“

“We went to this wonderful restaurant today for the first time, and it was unbelievably great! The man who waited on us answered all of our questions, the environment is warm and inviting, the service was the best ever, service was great, and we were not hurried in any way. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is spot on for hungry people. And of course, don't forget the desserts. There is a whole case of desserts to choose, and they were DELICIOUS. We will definitely go back and go back again and again.“

“Went right at opening and the owner and staff were taste testing dishes for the evening. It was great to see how much the owner and staff cared about the food.. Lily was the server and she was knowledgeable on the wine and food selection. I noticed they do allow bringing your own wine if that interests you. The oysters came predressed, which I didn't like at first but changed my mind once I ate, just don't put lemon on the vinegar dressed ones! Mussels were awesome, could've drank the broth. Octopus was actually a pasta dish served in a red sauce, doesn't say this on the menu, I only ordered because I saw the staff sample it. The clams looked amazing but was unfortunately too full to try. All in all great experience and will be back!“

“Dinner tonight was fabulous. Fresh, great quality. I had the French dip, which I honestly must say between the beef, bread, couldn’t be better! I had the homemade mashed as a side. Excellent! The garden side salad was perfect combination of vegetables nicely prepared. My guest ordered the cottage pie all I can say is wow and it was also said to be very delicious and beautifully done. I haven’t been in some years it was pleasant to be back. The bar drinks looked amazing as well! You can’t be disappointed here! Our server Hailey was friendly and provided great service. “We went to Angelina’s for dinner on Halloween night. Impeccable is how I would describe the experience. The drink menu was incredible, food was truly shareable with portion sizes that reflect the price.

The clams were okish, very small and I mean very small, so those weren’t worth the money at all. Fried Calamari was amazing! I’m used to chewy like rubber band chewy, but these were great! The seasonings and added heat was on point. The corn on the cob was extremely bland with just a corn taste, not the seasoned boil taste I was expecting. They need to cook the corn in the seasoning! Overall, nice place to eat and we will go back again. It was about $96 for my wife and I so that’s not bad. The girl that sat us was great, don’t know her name but she had long dreads. She’s a keeper, she always had a smile and super friendly. Our waiter was good and a good personality.“

“I came here on a recommendation from a friend. It was very good but not great. I ordered a rum cocktail that was delightful along with a papaya winter salad and duck ragout special. I sat at the bar. The place was jam packed with people. The salad took almost 40 minutes to arrive and the meal took an hour. That was understandable given the crowd. The salad had amazing flavors but was just a bit too spicy for me. I like spicy too but this was more than I like. The duck ragout special was delicious but way too salty. I am also a salt lover so this was surprising. The waitress comped my drink which was nice because of the wait. I really want to go again because there were lots of things I want to try. I just need to plan a much more leisurely dinner and go with a friend. It was too dark to read a book.“

“Just an outstanding dinner. I recently moved to the west side of ROC and sniffed this place out for my wife and I to take our cherished friends to. Something about the menu and the vibe just told me that we should try it. Just, wow. Our friends live right on the west coast, and they said they've possibly never had better calamari. The table bread was great, almost like a sourdough ciabatta vibe. I got the short ribs, a dish I'm no stranger to, and they were phenomenal. Our party of four was extremely happy with the quality of food for the value, and would absolutely recommend.“

I believe the owner helped us, bought some catfish to make our own fish fry, and he seemed to approve. They have one of the best selections of condiments, especially CAJUN, that I've seen in the immediate area. Will definitely be back.“

“There was a time where my fiance and I were very hungry. We were eating out of food pantries, and eventually I got sick and developed diabetes. My fiance managed to get tomatoes and cabbage, but I begged for salad. He walked severalmiles to get here. He told them a bit about our story and they made the best Greek salad I've ever had. We got on our feet, and if we ever get takeout- I insist we go here. 3 years later.
The wings are better than Buffalo's. I only moved here from Buffalo like 4 years ago. I honestly haven't been able to find comparable wings to this place. They're huge, juicy, and perfectly prepared. Honestly they're better then Buffalo's wings in my opinion.
It's a family business, and the owner and his family are wonderful people.
Everything I've ever ordered from them has been perfect. If you call them- they respond. They are the definition of a family business. Their food is amazing.
Give this place a try if you never have. They're well worth it!

Parking: There is a parking lot outside of the Chinese food place. Enough to get in and get out. Food is delicious. I got pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. Hubby got fried fish with shrimp fried rice and egg roll. He said he loved his.Try it you won't be disappointed“
