We both had steak and eggs and the quality and cook on the steaks was absolutely perfect. The sirloin steaks we had tasted more like filet mignon and the eggs were super fresh! “This is the first winery I had ever gone to. We were staying in Watkins Glenn and wanted to try one of the many wineries in the area. We happened to pick this one because it was fairly close. What luck! It turns out Hazlitt is one of the larger wine producers in the area and the makers of a super famous line of wines called Red Cat. The tasting room was a great experience. The person who led the tasting was very friendly and informative. We liked most of the wines and ended up buying a number of bottles to take along. I highly recommend this winery if you are in the Seneca Lake area. If you aren't from New York, make sure you buy LOTs of bottles before you leave because this wine is almost impossible to find in other states. I had to order some on-line to replenish my stock!“

So I packed the family and headed out to prisebox. we got there and the owner handed my daughter the pad of paper to take orders and had her right it down and the prices and then add the total up. This is fantastic in my eyes and the whole crew of people are always so friendly and caring. I love going and eating there when we can. “We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

It was cool, but we chose to sit on the deck to take in the incredible view. The staff was accommodating when we asked to start one of the patio heaters for us. We started with two glasses of sparkling - one blanc de blanc and one brut. We enjoyed both, they were very well-balanced. We then ordered the Squash Pumpkin soup and the Chicken Pot Pie. The soup was hearty, well-seasoned, and full of fall flavors. The pot pie came in a crock and was topped with a flaky, buttery crust, reminiscent of a french croissant. The pot pie filling was perfectly seasoned and had large pieces of chicken and potato (all tasted home-made - no can of cream of chicken soup in here!) The crock sat on a serving board and had a salad alongside - beautiful presentation! Overall, our experience was top-notch and can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!“

They had two almost full cases of pizzas and calzones to choose slices from and we were served right away. Three slices and a drink came out to $14. The only minor complaint is that it’s a little too greasy, but nothing out of the ordinary for chain pizza.“
