“Very friendly staff. My girlfriend and I were served by a young German-American woman who was both knowledgeable about the wines and the area in general. Chatting with her and drinking the good quality wine provided an overall very pleasant experience. Thus the Knapp Winery is worth a visit if you are in the area.“
“As a fan of dry red, there wasn't a wine I tried that wasn't exceptional. May, our hostess, was very informative. Even made a pup cup for our canine companion!
There are ciders available as well. Highly recommend and looking forward to going again next time we're in the area!“
“My first time there and what an amazing experience. The taster Maddie was wonderfully pleasant!“
“The best experience of wine tasting in your entire life. Top #1 winery in the Finger Lakes. Everything tastes good, looks good, feels good and absolutely beautiful. They offer something for literally everyone and they just make your experience from start to finish so memorable!“
“We visited on Sunday 9/22 and hands down the group decided it was # 1 out of 4 wineries/vineyards we visited! Low key, delicious wine, friendly hosts and owner(s) and not overly commercialized with expensive trinkets. You can bring your own snacks too (if there isn’t a food truck there). Did I mention the beautiful view of Lake Seneca? Their vegetable garden is decorated for the spooky season and welcomes a few wanderers. It was the perfect end to the day! Put this stop on your list!“
“Miles Wine Cellars was the perfect place for our small, intimate wedding. The setting was stunning and our stay at the Inn was cozy and comfortable. Staff was accommodating and friendly, sparing no detail. Food was fabulous and perfectly paired with our wine choices. We highly recommend Miles Wine Cellars. Thank you again for making our day so special and memorable.“
“First winery we went to in the fingerlakes and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend! There is something for everyone!“
“We chose Geneva, NY because it is halfway between our two families and we both really love wine. Zugibe was on the top of my list from the beginning, but I was so happy that it was just as beautiful in person as it was in the photos. We had the whole venue to ourselves, which was so great. The views were spectacular, and we for to watch the sunset during dinner. The wine was delicious--we drank rose all night. Amy was so easy to work with and her staff were so on top of it. She was flexible with us doing our rehearsal two days early, and allowed us to drop things off at the venue well in advance, which was so helpful. There was not one thing I asked Amy that she did not find a way to make it work. We originally wanted to do the dancing outside in front of the pavilion (due to weather we ended up under the tent), but Amy was so helpful and willing to make that work. We had a perfect day at Zugibe.“
“Discovered this little gem on a summer road trip traveling from Florida. Enjoyed an outdoor lunch and a few glasses of traminette, and was hooked. Fox Run is the only place I order wine. I take full advantage of free shipping twice a year. They never disappoint.“
“Just an impromptu stop while working our way around some wineries between Seneca and Cayuga, but so glad we found this little gem. Not busy at all when we stopped but most likely because the Watkins Glen Wine fest was going on at the same time. Randy was super friendly and very informative and even gave us a short tour of the facility. Bruce(owner) was in and out and we got to hear the story of how the Sheperdess got its name. DO NOT miss this place if you like your dry reds!! My wife and I thought they were some of the best tasting and full bodied reds in the region. They had a couple whites that were excellent but not our choice. The selection was limited but I would rather see fewer wines with better quality any day. Make sure to put this on your visit list if you are into high quality reds and whites(they also had a white sangria that we did not try).“
“Waa here for a business dinner. It was catered by the restaurant and it was open bar for us. The food was good, except the cheesecake. I've never had salty tasting cheesecake, I didn't care for it. I don't believe it was made that way, so sloppy cutting? The dishes I had was pasta with red sauce, stuffed chicken, and mashed potatoes, all delicious.. Veggies were available, but I didn't care for them. They were too blah. I doubt I'll ever eat there again, but only because it was a business dinner. I just don't think I'll get to Geneva again.“
“🥂 we loved the beautifully done gardens, and dry rose was very good. They even offer a small gift shop, as well as some small eats in a cooler, which was great to take back to the boat. Great place to kick back with you favorite bottle & people or pets 🥰“
“Cranberry Frost was a huge hit at Thanksgiving - good thing I had multiple bottles“
“Heart and Hands is definitely one of the best wineries on Cayuga lake. The owners and staff are so knowledgeable and the wine is among the best in the Finger Lakes. We did the UTV Vineyard Tour & Tasting and what an experience!! We learned so much, got to tour the vineyards and had truly excellent wine and food pairings. This is a must!!“
“Many different types of ciders calm laid back open atmosphere“
“Good pours. Good selections to try ciders and mead or mead blends . But needs some crackers or other to cleanse palate between tastings. There is no food and staff just pour based on your selection. Not much information. Seems like they are summer staff.“

“A rainy, gloomy day was meant for wine tasting! I arrived alone and left with half a case of some wonderful wine!! Sitting in a rocking chair by a cozy fire, Jeannie provided an interactive wine tasting and I completed my visit with a glass of Chardonnay offered to me by a trio of new friends! Lakeshore is a must see in the Finger Lakes!!“
