“The atmosphere was a chill vibe. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. Since the place was not parked we were even invited to choose where we would like to seat. The service from Tanya the waitress, Joesph from the bar and the chef was unmatched. The bar tender was very accommodating and very creative in mixing drinks that were not on the menu. Tanya read the mood and knew just when to ask it we needed another drink, clear the table, adjusted the temperature, bring takeaway dishes. By the end of the night I wanted to take her home with me. The music was great and not too loud so we didn’t have to shout at each other to try to have a conversation. As other guests filed in one could get a sense of familiarity and comfort. A good review for a place like this is returning customers. Nothing puts a stamp like a willingness to return. The all our food choices were amazing. The only constructive criticism is that some of the plantain were stuck together when fried and was undercooked where they were stuck. No big deal-it could happen to the best of cooks. The BBQ wing and sweet chillie wings were delish ( wings are my favorite). The Sandz plater is a good choice for appetizers since it is a variety on one plate. The shrimp Alfredo with jerk shrimp was a palate delight. A little sweet and a little spicy -marrying into one awesome flavor and the pasta was perfectly cooked. One person from our party returned three days later. I plan on returning soon and I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant for dinner or just for a hangout with friends.“

“This is a nice pub that seems to cater to locals. I had Ryan's burger and a few beers. The burger was really very good. The beers were fresh, the staff was nice enough. It's your typical old school neighborhood pub with really good burgers. Parking is a bit of a hassle though, so be warned.“

“My wife and I stopped in to see Poppie who was a no-show tonight. Stayed to enjoy the early patron conversation. Loved Ali and her energy. Met Poppie's dad's GF who was an angel. Jimmy, Ali's replacement, was our best friend from the start and showed his 50+ years of experience. As for the burgers... yum and yum, yum. Do one soon! This is a corner bar that has a dart board and personality to be experienced!“

Entertainment was versatile with music options playing current and throwback hits. Offered to split bills by seating arrangement in the beginning which ultimately helped navigation of payment at the end of our time dining.“

“Last night we decided to try the restaurant and were very happy. I ordered the. Bob Kelley cheeseburger, medium, and wanted it arrived. It was exactly how I wanted it. The meat was delicious juicy high quality tasty the bread was soft and delicious. Even the lettuce tomato and onion and cheese will placed carefully just the right size fresh and were also delicious.. my friend ordered the boneless honey barbecue wings. They were also cooked just the right way. The sauce was tasty. They were also the right size. Now to the drinks… they have a large selection of beers, which I don’t drink. I do order a kind of different type drink, which they they did a really good job. They didn’t have the ingredient, but they did substitute it for a little less expensive comparable one and the drink was very good. My friend drank just a plain drink, which was good. The food prices were about average my drink price was very high for the drink that I got considering it wasn’t the top shelf brand and was in a small glass ..I was a little disappointed with that, but that was the only thing that I didn’t like.. other than that I was very pleased with the whole experience.. I should’ve mentioned that at the time. The staff was great and kept coming over and making sure everything was fine. The bartender was great and wanted to make sure he made the drink correctly and was very personable. The kitchen closes at 12:30 and the bar stays open till 2 AM every day, which is very important when you work late and wanna go have a night cap. We will definitely return!“

Had lunch everyday here and I always got the ceviche. Excellent! Guillermo is an amazing host and a great guy. Lara, his daughter was a great hostess as well. Loved this place and it made me feel at home.“

The food is so fresh and healthy, the dishes delicious and varied each week, and my husband and I always marvel at how great we feel after these meals -- nothing like our (beloved but) heavy Indian take-out in the neighborhood. Especially during quarantine, this has been a true godsend. The chef is so talented, and we love that it's a local family business. Plus amazing customer service, and it's completely customizable week to week, so zero commitment. Highly suggest!!“
