“Amazing experience!!! Highly recommend. Went as a family on Halloween and our kids don’t eat pizza crust and they ate the pizza crust. Light airy fresh and delicious. Friendly family atmosphere!! Outside seating was great for the family on such a beautiful night ❤️ Husband is Italian and the gnocchi with homemade meatballs tastes like his Nonna and Nonno used to make!!! He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“I came for Pastry & Coffee, and decided to have a light lunch of Chicken Salad Platter. The Chicken Salad was delicious, fresh. The Salad Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Mushrooms, refreshing and crisp Viennese Merengue Torte soft, creamy not too sweet. Service was nice and attentive.“

“I’ve been here a few times and the food is good. Very similar to all other Chinese places. Today we got a fried spring roll, an egg roll, 2 fresh spring rolls, a chicken with broccoli combo and Tom Yum soup.

Everything was as expected. The Tom Yum was thicker than I like it but that’s preference. They had a good amount of shrimp in the soup.

The fresh spring rolls stuck to the bottom of the container so I had to eat them open face pretty much. The sauce was good and other than that they were fine.

Ordering online was easy and the food was ready when it said it would be. I’d eat here again.“

Served on tableware with friendly staff. The food is absolutely outstanding. Easily one of the best restaurants of its kind anywhere we’ve travelled. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. We’re not sure what they do differently about their baba, but it is to die for. Their Veggie Sampler is a go-to favorite. Today we also tried the portobello pitza which had nice chunks of olive, onion, tomato, a vinegar reduction, and cheese with a lovely pull to it. We’ve yet to have a single item at this restaurant that wasn’t described as “outstanding” or “among the best we’ve had” for whatever the dish. Our only regret is that we didn’t try it until February 2023.“

“Sals never disappoints. It was my introduction to Rochester almost 30 years ago, my regular Monday night stop while we lived here and a can’t miss when we visit. I’m partial to the Scottsville Rd location since it was always “mine”.
The chicken is delicious. Perfect as always. The sassy saucy is a delectable mix of spicy and sweet. And you can buy bottles of it so we can share even when at home in Taiwan! My favorite is the half chicken dinner with double Mac salad. When I’m craving home it usually starts by missing Mac salad!
My family likes the wings and wedges dinner but honestly, you can’t go wrong. An absolute treasure if Rochester!“
