“Not from this area but stopped in yesterday while visiting PC around 8:45am. The store is quite busy and seems regular customers because the staff seemed to know everyone. A couple of PC police were there for quite a while sipping coffee and chatting. Coffee was hot & fresh as was the food. Bathrooms were clean. I visit a lot of DD stores in NJ and all down the east coast and this location is now on my best-DDs list!“

“Where do I start, Portrush is one of a kind. The baristas are not only knowledgable but also truly hospitable and very welcoming. Since they have opened I’ve seen this true cafe and espresso bar put smiles on 100s of faces. If I mention the establishment it creates curiosity and if already known, I always hear “They are awesome, Que rico, or another positive accolade.” The perfect place to learn about the process of coffee and the love of community. I recently learned the name is in homage to Portrush, Ireland—another testament of the unique diversity of the Village of Port Chester.

“There is a lack of good coffee shops around me but this place doesn’t disappoint — good strong coffee, great desserts and reasonable prices.

The lady at the front was also super nice and recommended different options.

“This place hit a bunch of the same things I look for in a coffee shop.

(1) the cold brew is excellent! They didn’t have it on their written menu but they do have it! It’s delicious.

(2) The shop is so relaxing and even though I did take away I felt like staying a bit to enjoy the ambiance.

(3) The staff is friendly, fast, and super pleasant to interact with.

I had the avacado smash, with a tasty latte, and a thoroughly refreshing glass of champagne to celebrate! The brunch was made wholly enjoyable by a doting staff. The maitre d’ greeted me and my mother immediately, the server consistently checked in and poured water regularly, and the blond barista with glasses struck up a very pleasant conversation—suggesting a delicious pastry that was surprisingly delightful.“

“I am frequent of all locations, i was in line at the drive thru and the guy before me was calling the young lady an idiot because she asked for him to repeat his order meanwhile i know he mumbles and has an island accent. When i was greated by her sunshine smile face at the window i apologized for the animals in our country and she kept her beautiful attitude. Wish i caught her name but i want to say it starts with S. Anyway thanks for keeping it together for us all and the smile on your face i personally left a couple bucks tip and all i had was a healthy black coffee. “I really love this place! I mean, we don’t come here often, but tasting on ice cream served here once again made me remember how well it’s appreciated and respected. For one, the flavors are excellent. My brother was shocked to have 2 enormous balls of ice cream on such a small cone, but when tasting the brownie ice cream left him with a reaction similar to the one in ratatouille where the midget chef eats ratatouille and grasps the table cloth. Unfortunately, I could not take a photo of his ice cream but I did for my pistachio. I would love to come here more often.“

“I just had the Starbucks experience. I came to downtown Scarsdale at 6 AM to work. Nothing was open, including the building I was going to work in. I do not drink coffee and had never bought anything at a Starbucks in my lifetime. So they suggest a hot chocolate, was upsold to the largest cup, they put a dab of Whip Cream and Chocolate syrup on it. The barista was a very Upbeat person And provided constant upbeat greetings to every last person who came in. I was thinking of my niece Jessica who was a barista and now makes part of her living doing IMPROV. Tipped the barista team for the floor show and tremendously positive good feeling I had as I walked across the street to @scarsdaledentalgroup“

“The store and bathrooms are very clean and the staff is nice. Prices are better than Dunkin and the donuts are as good or better. Coffee is much better and made in a machine fresh. Around $15 for a dozen donuts. $3 for coffee. I have been there multiple times lately.

“Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“

Ten seconds from the center of the waiting room (north side of the mezzanine via automatic doors), lies a family-run, old fashioned coffee and breakfast joint that serves up a hearty egg sandwich (however you like it) along with good coffee and a host of other choices. Three cheers to the staff who heartily welcomed this newbie. Their blackboard says they’ve been there for 26 years. It’s easy to see why. Enjoy!“
