“Can’t wait to go back!
Water Moon is such a cozy little gem. The vibe is super relaxing, and the dumplings? Unreal. So flavorful and perfectly made, we couldn’t stop talking about them. Our server, Anna, was the sweetest and made everything feel extra special. Sad they’re closed for remodeling, but I’m already excited for their return. Definitely a favorite! Perfect for a business meeting, a friends/family get together, or even to sit down and do some studying and enjoy lunch!“

“Just finished my teriyaki steak box. Has to be the best I have ever had. Fresh, crisp, distinct flavors all on one plate. I do not usually write reviews but was so impressed that I had to congratulate them. Well done!“

“I am a famously fussy eater and vegetarian, so most of the time if my loved ones are getting sushi I either don’t eat at the restaurant or get a small side dish that I can have. At Hajime they had so many options that I could choose from I was very surprised.
I really wanted the fried noodles but it came with chicken and vegetables, but our very friendly waiter said without the chicken was really no problem. I also let him know that I can’t have any spice and he reassured me when I ordered and again when it arrived that there was no spice and he even waited for me to take a mouthful of a food to ensure it was okay for me. I’ve never felt so cared about in a restaurant before and I was so grateful to him for caring about a seemingly fussy girl.
We genuinely had the best time here for my fiancés birthday, and after our entrees they brought us a huge plate of different sorbets with a candle in. We had no idea they were doing this and it was such a thoughtful touch.
I very much got the vibe of a family business that has been around a while, quietly serving the most delicious food. Truly a hidden gem! We have agreed that we will go out of our way to travel the half an hour it takes to get here just for this place. The atmosphere and hospitality is unmatched. Thank you so much!“

A Hidden Sushi Gem That Deserves a Spotlight!
Hazuki Sushi in Glen Cove is an absolute treasure — the kind of place you almost want to keep a secret but can’t help shouting from the rooftops. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted like family. The energy is warm, the smiles are genuine, and the service? Beyond phenomenal.
Now, let’s talk sushi: FRESH doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every bite is a burst of flavor, a dance of texture, a masterpiece on a plate. Their selection is outstanding — from melt-in-your-mouth toro to creative rolls that somehow taste even better than they look (and they look stunning).
Consistency is key, and Hazuki nails it every single time. It’s become a favorite for our whole family — even the kids are obsessed (and trust me, that says a lot).
If you’re searching for sushi that’s not just food but an experience — delicious, memorable, and absolutely worth the trip — Hazuki Sushi is it.
💫 11/10. A must-visit. A repeat visit. A forever favorite.“

“Fujinoya has been my family’s top favorite Japanese spot in all of Westchester - aside from Sazan in Ardsley - boasting a delicious authentic menu, kind Japanese staff, and a cozy vibe that’s small yet inviting. The seasonal offerings are always a standout, including the sukiyaki hot pot that’s my all-time fave! 😋 highly recommended“

“Kotobuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and service. The head chef is the owner -- Masanori Sato, who goes informally by the moniker "Masa." Masa is always busy, behind the such bar, creating his excellent delicacies. My favorite is the sushi and sushi rolls -- always fresh and delicious. In addition to the traditional rolls, there are some wonderful in-house creations such as the Spicy Betty Roll, Lobster Roll (my wife's favorite), and my favorite, the Kevin Roll. The latter, in deference to the national color of Ireland, is spicy tuna wrapped in slices of tuna, fried, and covered with avocado (green, of course). The setting is not overdone, to say the least, but is very basic -- a variety of wooden tables surrounded by walls enhanced with various pieces of art appropriate to the cuisine and culture. The tables are separated by cloth partitions highlighting Japanese scenery. The table service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating, and shout-outs are certainly appropriate for Mr. Sato's wife (head waitress) and Jenny (one of the welcoming waitresses). Moreover, the dining room is very quiet, conducive to conversing with cohorts without the need to raise one's voice. It should be mentioned that Kotobuki remained open during the pandemic, serving both take-out meals AND in-house specialties.“

“One of the best Ramen Bars I’ve ever been to. The flavors across the menu are unreal. The Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork Belly in particular was one of the best soup broths I’ve ever tasted. The service staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The quaint setting and atmosphere lend themselves to almost feel like sitting at one big family style dinner table.“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.
Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)
Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻
PS: ask for their Fried Oreo Dessert, you won’t regret it😊“

“Cozy and intimate place. It looks like it seats 50 people including bar area. I want to give it a 3.5 star, but it is a place worth going.
Open kitchen. It’s clean.
Food was good. Some dishes better than others.
We like the sake.
The appetizer was good - blister shishito peppers -
The nigiri was good - the sushi rice and pairing with the fish was a good combo.
Robata was good. Salmon and pear was nicely done and paired together, wagyu beef was a little tough, mushroom and eggplant was ok. The beef and veggie- needed the pairing sauce.
Temaki/ hand roll, we had 3 rolls salmon, tuna and scallops. They were ok. The fish was overly sauced.
The crispy rice - beef and scallop. Typically my favorite, but the rice was overly crispy, made it too chewy.“
