“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

Every single bite bursts with flavor! • 🥝 Kiwi Mojito 🍲 Calldo Gallego 🐑 Lamb Skewers 🦞 Tres Colas 🦐 Empanadas 🥩 Angus Beef Croquettes 🥩 Churrasco Bravo • I wish we had room for more because every single item was great and the deserts looked amazing, we just physically could not eat anymore! 😂 The vibes were great. “Perla is the gem of Modern!!! The scallops and lychee martinis are amazing as well! But our waitress extraordinaire with the fabulous hair, made our ladies night memorable. She had thoughtful recommendations, made sure we were well taken care of exudes pure joy! Even the servers and gentleman who cleared the table were all professional. The manager takes good care of this crew and it shows in the service. We will definitely go back soon!“

I hope I’m spelling his name correctly, but Fasbiender was incredibly helpful and kind, as were the other servers who took great care of our party. Caitlyn, who helped us with the booking and made sure everything ran smoothly, was such a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and made the planning process completely seamless.

Both Fasbiender and Caitlyn are wonderful assets to the restaurant. Because of them, you’ve earned a returning customer — and several of our guests who live nearby mentioned they’ll be coming back too!

“My experience at Allegria Ristorante involved attentive, courteous and friendly waitstaff, a clean and well designed environment, and food that was superb. My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. Nice clean tone comes through very well in this setting .“

“We just had a baby shower there April 3th, 2022 It's so easy to work with Leo. We had a brunch buffet and everything was terrific. The wait staff and the food. We had a wonderful time.“

“Food is delicious! Would recommend the sautéed chicken, sea scallop risotto, linguine bolognese, marinated skirt steak, homemade mac and cheese or the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Unique dessert option that the kids loved was campsite s'mores where they can roast marshmallows at the table with a personal little fire. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall atmosphere was nice with larger parties able to be accommodated in a larger, brighter room while main dining room was more cozy with smaller booths/tables and darker ambiance. Parking is tight, but there is a larger municipal lot across the street. Can't wait to go back!“

We have had 5 outstanding experiences at this new French establishment... everything is delicious --duck confit salad to foi gras to chicken liver pate` to roasted beet salad to salmon tartare... the steak frites and hamburger are the BEST around!  The menu changes and reflects the great care that goes into each dish. The sides are also fantastic!  Brussels, broccoli, and macaroni gratines, the fries in duck fat are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Wine selection, too, is excellent. Overall, this place is spectacular --decor is gorgeous and immaculate and service is equal to the best NYC attentiveness... Owner Jonathan is so charming and a true professional with an amazing pedigree in the restaurant biz. They now have a brunch menu that looks fantastic!  Tuesday night is a special martini and burger night!  Absolutely LOVE this place!“

“This is a classic Italian restaurant. Years ago in NYC there were many small restaurants on side streets that had excellent food. Very few of those survive. But Aperiti is heir to that tradition. We just came back from three weeks in Italy and Aperiti is as good as any of the restaurants that we experienced in Rome. Maybe even better.“

“The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!“
