“We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. I believe the type of music the DJ was playing is Electronic Dance Music - EDM. The drink menu is unique which is what I expected at this lounge bar. The waiter was super helpful and offered up suggestions. A relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside but I took a look at the inside and it looked great. Our cocktails were delicious. Also, for those who might not want alcohol, they do mocktails. I will go back ! It is a special spot.“

“When I arrived the restaurant was empty since it was 5pm, I asked not to be seated next to the front door because of the outside chill. I was told that was not possible because the manager was not there at the time and all the other tables were spoken for! We were disappointed with the mistake in serving us our appetizer. We were given an incorrect appetizer but accepted it because we were hungry! My raclette plate was not as good as I would have in other Swiss restaurants. CW“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“It was a most enjoyable experience; the farmer's salad is among the best I've ever had, and the entree, chicken schnitzel, was tasty. I was surprised to see the place was packed on a Tuesday in the off-season, which made it noisier than I would like, since I value quiet acoustics more than food because it makes conversation easier. But heh, people were obviously there because they like the place. The new owner has done an excellent job transforming a restaurant that has been around for ages.“

“Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!“

“We went there on a Saturday in the end of September, we got the hot lobster roll & a chicken sandwich. The food was delicious, they had music on a Saturday which was good our server was Nicole and she was very helpful and cheerful. We will be back next season.“

“We showed up for lunch, no reservation with a baby and child and they couldn't have been more hospitable. Who knew they have lovely outdoor tables away from the main street. That was a great start. Even better that the food was excellent. We had Branzino, cooked to perfection, and the lunch menu burger along with a proper Caesar salad. And our server was exceptional. Couldn't ask for more.“

I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!“

“Calissa has truly become one of my favorite year-round spots in the Hamptons. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is gorgeous, and the team makes you feel taken care of from the second you walk in. I recently went for their Winter Chalet and had such a great time. The whole après-ski setup is super cozy, wintery, and so well done. Between the cocktails, the warm lighting, and the ski-lodge feel, it honestly felt like a little getaway in the middle of Water Mill. The mezze, the seafood, the service — everything was on point. “very nice experience! we were a group of 8 who had a reservation for 4 pm but were early in Greenport so we decided to see if they could accomodate us earlier. And they did! thing that stood out was the great service! Our server Nicole was very upbeat, friendly and efficient. So were the others, the hostess, etc. who made it seem they were happy to work there. Food was OK and we were a bit disappointed because the band that was supposed to play canceled so there was no live music. But the service made it a very gratifying experience. looking forward to next time.“
