“We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. I believe the type of music the DJ was playing is Electronic Dance Music - EDM. The drink menu is unique which is what I expected at this lounge bar. The waiter was super helpful and offered up suggestions. A relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside but I took a look at the inside and it looked great. Our cocktails were delicious. Also, for those who might not want alcohol, they do mocktails. I will go back ! It is a special spot.“

What a treat! It was so delicious and enough for two. We also enjoyed the bread basket with coriander-sunflower butter and olive oil/balsamic vinegar. Yummy! We also had a side of pancetta savory spätzli - which pairs really well with our entree. The restaurant is cozy with Swiss flair. Our server was very friendly and attentive. “went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“We showed up for lunch, no reservation with a baby and child and they couldn't have been more hospitable. Who knew they have lovely outdoor tables away from the main street. That was a great start. Even better that the food was excellent. We had Branzino, cooked to perfection, and the lunch menu burger along with a proper Caesar salad. And our server was exceptional. Couldn't ask for more.“

Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!“

“Sat in the new beer garden area, and the roof top was partially open, since it was a bit overcast. Great area for a party or bigger group. Had the avocado toast- I am never disappointed! Home fries are crispy and cooked well, honestly the best breakfast place out east!“
