“I have been getting egg sandwiches from 117 for a couple of years now. We already know that no one makes a better egg sandwich for multiple reasons BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I just got a chicken cutlet sandwich for the first time from them and i feel obligated to let everyone know it was HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN CUTLET SANDWICH I HAVE EVER ATE IN MY LIFE. This whole time i always got egg sandwiches and today for lunch i went with the cutlet sandwich. I still can’t believe how good this was, and i have tried almost every egg sandwich and chicken cutlet in the islips. I promise you there’s no one that makes them better.“

“A landmark in Islip! New owner John and staff are awesome. Kleibers Deli has improved in so many ways but still has that down home country charm. The food is amazing!! So happy to have them so close to home. Love walking there for breakfast with my dogs who are always welcome and treated to some bacon every time we go. From small snacks, sandwiches to catering Kleibers is a hidden gem you’ll definitely want to try!!“

“So happy I discovered this place! Right across from the hospital and run by a really wonderful family, super quick and inexpensive too. I work down the block and have gotten breakfast and lunch here every day for the last few weeks and never been disappointed. One of the best bacon/sausage egg and cheeses i’ve had on long island. Chicken cutlets are made fresh and lots of good drink options and snacks as well.“

They always go out of their way to get to know their customers and have gone above and beyond for my elderly mother on many occasions.

“This place is one of those spots where you can get a good bagel/breakfast sandwich and make sure it’s made to your liking. The owner is very accommodating and will make things that is not on the menu. I was craving a Pizza Bagel and he was able to make one. Good and honest people- they are on DoorDash and Uber too. “Went at 11AM on a Sunday. The parking lot was a puzzle of cars trying to get in and out and just parking anywhere they could. There was a minimal line inside. We had the steak, the chicken and the Cuban sandwiches. They were all AMAZING. The chicken and the Cuban melted my fat heart. I then ordered some to go for later on, since I live in Queens. I hope I'm out by this area again so I can order it again. Cash only, and don't look for cleanliness, just order and enjoy.“

“I have never had fresher food at a deli for individual meals and even the catered food. Nor have I ever seen a deli look or smell cleaner- I guess that's the owners nursing background. I highly recommend the kale salad rice pudding, catered heroes, salads.... I've never had party Heroes catered with such large portions of side salads. Simply da best“

“I’ve been going to this deli for 30 years,, At least 4 or 5 owners I know of, The latest owners continue the great tradition of the perfect,, two egg with meat,,breakfast sandwich and platters,,French toast is good,,never tried the pancakes,,home fries are good.. “Great place. i go before work but sometimes the dressing on the sandwich is to much and the bread starts to get wet. I would say prices are kinda high but then again i like to get extra food incase a coworker doesn't have any food or to bring home for dinner. I do wish the bagels were a bit better. The workers are nice but one time i was getting food for a coworker and me and one of the guys said "what are you doing? getting food for a date" 1. i'm single 2. Bro i was ordering a Texas chainsaw sandwich. i don’t think a girl would eat a sandwich that big loaded with nothing but beef and bacon and cheese drenched in sauce. “We got a chicken cutlet 3ft hero and deli wraps platter for an office party and everyone was raving about them. super easy to order and they delivered. we're already talking about ordering from them again.“

“We didn’t have the food long enough to take pictures 😅 but we are so happy we stoped at Salpino’s to try them out. We purchased three sandwiches 2 of “ the classic “ and 1 of “ the supreme “ . We also purchased the Farfalle pasta salad and chicken Caesar pasta salad. The chicken Caesar pasta salad is my new favorite thing in life… I want it every day 😂 We also purchased the prosciutto bread. Everything was amazing. Including the employees. It was an all around great experience and we cannot wait to take the 45 minute drive to go back!“

“My family and I have been going to this place when they opened Los hermanos. We constantly go there almost daily to get what we need and the people are nice. They now serve hot food and we just got breakfast sandwiches and they were awesome. Always going back.“

They also should make sure they clean the grill and use a side that is specifically for cooking eggs only, one time my sandwich tasted like bacon and I am vegetarian.“

“I love having a vegan option in fire island! My husband has been coming to fire island since he was a child and we became vegan together about 5 years ago. We miss town pizza but are so appreciative of having an alternative so we’re not a pain with family! We always get a vegan cheese pizza with mushrooms and whatever veggies are available! “This place is amazing! They are compassionate and empathic. We should have more of you around.So I live in Texas, and my father in law was admitted in the hospital for a life threatening condition. I was trying to order food for family member that was taking care of my father in law in the hospital. I tried to use Uber eat but all effort was abortive.Then I google this beautiful hero place, when I called, I was told that they don’t deliver, but when I explained my situation, they told me they will take my order and they will deliver the food to the hospital. They exceeded my expectations, they broke protocol just to make sure my family member ate. Thank you so much! You are a true definition of serving the community where you transact business.“

“I have eaten food from Captree Deli on various occasions through the years. Always very good, fresh food. Yesterday, 8/3/24, I catered a small hero, salads and pickles for a small group of friends. I was very happy with everything! The food was fresh and delicious, they did a beautiful presentation and provided great serving utensils with the order. Made it all that much easier.
