be sure your while group is 100% sober. we had one tipsy member and we were limited to one bottle of wine for a table of 4. that being said the food was amazing. Just wish they hadn't judged/limited based on one member of group (who we were looking out for...everyone has a day sometimes)
What’s not to like? Creative cuisine, knowledgeable staff, extensive wine list in a casual, modern atmosphere.
Skate fish schnitzel, served in a chic French vibe, is possibly the finest tasting dish I have ever tasted. Was skeptical that Saratoga could support another upscale dining venue, but this place is cool and delightfully different.

Familiar Creature is an amazing wine bar with an eccentric, neat vibe that gives off 50s diner energy. The menu still feels a bit like a diner but with significant upscaling. Guests can create their own charcuterie boards, and the food is top notch. The best dishes are the roasted chicken, steak tartare, and Steak frites. Small plates are designed for sharing, and everything is seasoned just right. They carry a great wine menu with some curiosities, including Reissdorf Kölsch on tap. Do not skip dessert, as the rotating soft serve ice cream is really that special. The interior is inspired, tasteful, and comfortable. The staff is very educated and passionate. This is a nexus of top tier menus, positive energy, and creative flair without pretension. Well worth a visit.
