Mallory is a cute Spot with a casual indoor outdoor bar and dining area. It is just steps from the Pines and Cherry Grove Ferries, making it great for a missed ferry or in between ferries. Heidi has been there for years and is simply wonderful behind the bar. The food is excellent. It is tasty, quick and handy or sandwiches you can sit for.

And James is simply over the moon! Thank you for supporting the Sayville Library.“

“The servers were excellent from the moment we arrived. Cocktails were perfect. We shared the tuna carpaccio which was an excellent combination of flavors... so we looked forward to to the entree... I ordered halibut, ( my favorite) but it was served on a celery root purée which sadly had very little flavor, so while the fish was cooked perfectly, the dish lacked pizzazz. My husband ordered the duck which did have a nice combination of flavors. I wanted to offer a better score but the halibut was just bla.“

It’s a Friday night and no shortage of customers here but still the service was fantastic, beer selection was great, my sandwich in particular was A++, and no one in my party had a bad word to say about theirs either. Our only complaint was that we spent in excess of $200 for dinner and drinks, we were charged .50 cents for an additional dressing for the Baja Chicken bowl. Seriously the management feels the need to charge this after pouring it from a giant container in the kitchen?? We were told that this the policy. Management/owner should review this absurd charge after you spend decent money. This should be absorbed elsewhere and not openly charged to customers on the bill.
$27.00 dish and you cant include two tablespoons of sauce?

“NOCO has quickly become our go-to date night spot. The food is absolutely delicious, the drinks are crafted perfectly, and the whole experience just feels special every time. We also want to highlight Livia, the bartender, who has taken such great care of us during our last two visits while sitting at the bar. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

I definitely recommend the burnt ends and calamari as appetizers, the lobster rolls, tomahawk pork chop (tremendous) and the pork osso buco was outstanding! We definitely left there with full bellies and leftovers 😊. Such a great restaurant“

He was extremely thorough in explaining what menu items were gluten-free and took great care to ensure there was no cross-contamination. “My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.

We WILL be asking to have Gianna as our server from now on!“

Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“We've had great experiences at Nu. It's a quiet spot, usually, and the food is really great. We always get filet mignon or their pork chop, which is fabulous. Their wine list is great, and the service is always top notch. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to service. I like to have great service but also be left alone, which is exactly what they do. The servers have always been attentive and professional. They know what to recommend and can advise you on the menu. I have to repeat. Their food is GREAT! although I do always order the filet mignon. It's the best .“
