Mallory is a cute Spot with a casual indoor outdoor bar and dining area. It is just steps from the Pines and Cherry Grove Ferries, making it great for a missed ferry or in between ferries. Heidi has been there for years and is simply wonderful behind the bar. The food is excellent. It is tasty, quick and handy or sandwiches you can sit for.

And James is simply over the moon! Thank you for supporting the Sayville Library.“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

“Went on a busy Saturday night, it was very hectic in there, but not like in an NYC type of way. Everything was honestly organized, and people were getting their food and drinks in a timely manner. Wasn’t a fan of the “Figgy Smalls”, tasted like medicine, but the Dark Cherry Bourbon Sour was amazing. The Grouper was amazing sitting on top of the risotto, perfect for a fall evening. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Love this bar so much. My friends and I go there all the time after our gigs, and the server Joanne always takes such good care of us. The food is delicious, the vibes are cozy, and everything is super clean. A great place to have a drink or bring your loved ones!

Vegetarian options: Not a veg heavy menu, but I'm sure if you asked for options they would make something for you. It's just that kind of place.

Parking: Parking can be tough, especially on the weekends.

“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

The staff greeted you with smiles and were very friendly.
And from 10am-5pm is happy hour so certain drinks are two for one which you cannot beat.

“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“Went on a Tuesday night which happened to be Karaoke night. It was a fun evening with a full house of people of all ages. I had the Lobster Bisque (excellent) and the fried clams, also good. I intend to make it a regular stop. It is outdoor dining only.“

Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place. I don't recommend“

“Great service. The manager was around the whole time to make sure everything was great. This is the first applebees that I can absolutely give it 5 stars. The food is always great and the service amazing. This location is always clean. I wish all applebees were like this one.“
