“I did Texas Taco in Sayville and jad their food truck the summer prior to COVID hit and it was great! They pulled right up to house for a few hours, you can pick from different plan options and prices. If I remember correctly I think I picked an option that had up to 40 people even though I had 30 to be safe incase anyone else extra stopped by. We picked out some menu items with the owner ahead of time to be served. We set a time slot( thenowner came with truck like an hour early to prep food and get ready ahead if my start time and each guest was able to go back and forth to the truck as many times as they wanted within the few hours the truck was hired to be here. Great service( the owner and one other guy worked the truck the whole time they were here) everything made to order fresh and very good. Nothing but compliments from all my guests that day. I tipped at end and even tho I did a final tip some guests were so impressed a few threw them a few bucks during one of their many trips to the truck in my driveway that day too, even though i said I tipped they were so satisfied they wanted to top a few dollars too. It was deeelish!“

“We tried Taco Island Mexican Cantina in Mount Sinai for the first time tonight. We ordered the Fish Taco, Avacado Taco, Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito, chips with homemade guac, and lastly the Pizza De Birria. The food was outstanding!! Honestly, it was some of the best Authentic Mexican food we have ever had. (Even our picky kids loved it) The employees were also super nice and brought us chips and sauces while we waited. After we ate they also brought us to go containers and a bag with a smile. 10 out of 10. Will return soon.“

“Mannnnn, this place is amazing!!
It was my first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint at all!
Im really bad with names but I think his name was Ricky, the manager/counter person. He was super welcoming, explained the menu, all our questions, hooked us up with some queso to try with the chips we ordered and threw in some dessert also!! Regardless of that, the guy is the type of person that'll make you wanna come back again.
With that aside, the food was amazing as well, big portions, super tasty, flavorful and their own sauce adds a nice flavor to it.
Highly recommend to any and everyone, Def must try. Come hungry cause their portions are pretty big, definitely worth the price!!“

“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

I don't know what they call it but I tried a cactus leaf and it was delicious. It has such a flavor that is similar to I guess an artichoke but also very different at the exact same time.

I had two chicken tacos and one chorizo. I love the fact that they have a bar where you can add as much salsa and toppings as you want.

So delicious.

On the real, Vallarta is not talked about enough. We love their chicken and steak platter, kids chicken quesadillas, nachos and OBVIOUSLY the Puebla Burrito. It’s so fresh and healthy.

Kelly in the front is the most lovely person to yap with and the guys in the back are always smiling. If you live further than 5 min away don’t even bother calling your food order in because it will get cold, they make it so fast.

I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil. “I heard about this place from a friend and I decided to make the trip to see if it is worth the hype. Let me just tell you, it was sooo worth it! I live about three hours away from there, but after this experience, I would gladly make this drive again.

The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the atmosphere. There was good music playing, everyone was incredibly friendly, the energy was amazing, and even though there was a long line, the service was quick as I was able to get my food quickly.

Now, about the food, to me this was truly life changing. it's hard for me to find authentic flavorful Mexcian food where I live, this feels like finding a hidden gem. Every bite just made me want more. I loved it so much that I went back and placed a second order before leaving! (Had to take one for on the road!)

I'll definitely be returning every chance I get. Honsetly, they need to open a location closer to me because if I lived closer to them, you would see me there every day. If you are considering coming here, I'll tell you this: STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND GO!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!“
