“I did Texas Taco in Sayville and jad their food truck the summer prior to COVID hit and it was great! They pulled right up to house for a few hours, you can pick from different plan options and prices. If I remember correctly I think I picked an option that had up to 40 people even though I had 30 to be safe incase anyone else extra stopped by. We picked out some menu items with the owner ahead of time to be served. We set a time slot( thenowner came with truck like an hour early to prep food and get ready ahead if my start time and each guest was able to go back and forth to the truck as many times as they wanted within the few hours the truck was hired to be here. Great service( the owner and one other guy worked the truck the whole time they were here) everything made to order fresh and very good. Nothing but compliments from all my guests that day. I tipped at end and even tho I did a final tip some guests were so impressed a few threw them a few bucks during one of their many trips to the truck in my driveway that day too, even though i said I tipped they were so satisfied they wanted to top a few dollars too. It was deeelish!“

“When I got to the place, there was enough parking space. Once I got inside, the atmosphere was different than any other placements. The counter person was ready to write down my order. There was a lot of food selection to choose from. Different types of tacos, burritos, tortas, etc. Great drinks like sprite, juices, water but there were also natural drinks like horchata, melon, etc. Once your food was ready, they would call your name and you can choose your sauces and toppings at the little station they had. This place is a great spot to hang out or to pass time with friends and family. Although the place was hot, it doesn't matter because the day was already hot and obviously people were working in the kitchen meaning it was going to get hot. All in all, the food and place is definitely worth trying. I think I just found my new spot. Give it a try and you will see that this is a place worth trying.

“Tried their food for the first time and it was delicious. My kids and I will definitely be going back.
The only thing is that I wish they’d tell you when you call in an order that its cash only. Because I went there and I didn’t have cash only my card. However, they were generous and helped me out since it was my first time there.“

“Muy bien! Coming from a real Mexican, these are the real deal. I had a steak, chicken and chorizo taco and there is a hearty amount of quality meat (especially the steak!) on the tacos and the salsas are spicy, fresh and tasty. I ate there, besides actually having really hot tacos, it's very clean too. My only suggestion, definitely NOT a complaint, is to make your own corn tortillas! ??“

“Went here yesterday for their Cinco de Mayo celebration, and I’m glad we did! Starting at 6p they had a Mexican mariachi band, and it was such good entertainment.The restaurant was packed as you would expect on this day, but the service was phenomenal. It didn’t matter whose table we were assigned to, everyone helped in all different stages of our meal.We started off with a coconut margarita and a peach margarita. They were good and you could taste the alcohol that put in there.The second and third coconut margarita came with real coconut in the drink, and that definitely was a seller for us.They start off with fresh made tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The salsa was fresh and great flavor, however if you can handle even a tiny bit of spice, I wouldn’t have it. It got hotter the more you ate it.We ordered their ‘alitas con chipotle’ which is their chicken wings, and oh goodness they were great. Only thing I have to say is they are double fried and on the smaller side, but their chipotle sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever tasted in my life. It is on the hotter side, but to me personally it was not too bad, the the flavor was bursting in my mouth. We actually ordered another side of the sauce for the wings because it was practically drinkable as is, and then another side for our entrees.We ordered ‘camarones caribeños’ which is their coconut shrimp with fries and salad. The coconut shrimp had appeared to be burnt when it was set on the table, however they weren’t and it was delicious. We dipped the coconut shrimp into the chipotle sauce… and that is what this place should offer with this dish. The sweet and savory together really burst in your mouth. The fries were typical fries, soft and could’ve been fried a tad more.We also ordered their ‘fajitas en Sartén’ with chicken. It came out sizzling with green peppers, onions, and tomatoes with a plate of guacamole, refried beans, rice and sour cream. We poured the chipotle sauce on the fajitas, and once again, we were baffled with the taste fusion.We loved this sauce so much that I told our waitress that I would buy the sauce if they were willing to sell it to me. I asked her to give me however much she could, and she gave me 4oz.We additionally ordered the ‘flan de tres leches’ and it tasted like a flan, and less like tres leches.Overall, would come back here in a heart beat.“

“The most delicious Mexican food I've ever had! I had the steak fajitas which was cooked to perfection! Lots of peppers and onions and the steak is so juicy and flavorful! The chips are just how I like them, crispy but not too salty, and the guacamole is great! Truly the best Mexican food around, recommend it to anyone!“

Parking: The lot for this shopping center is poorly designed, and lots of customers park along the fire lanes because they think who they are, but there’s an overflow lot behind salsa salsa and the laundromat that is easier and sometimes even closer than if you were to try to park in the main lot.

Kid-friendliness: The dining space is small but the metal tables and booths are good for kids. High top counter seating available as well.“

I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil.
