I saw a review saying they didn’t have cheese in their sandwich. So I did just want to say
THE ONLY BURGER THAT COMES WITH CHEESE IS A CHEESEBURGER!
Any other sandwich you would need to add it on.
A chicken sandwich normally comes in a pita bread UNLESS STATED THAT YOU WANT IT IN A BUN!

“Brought in my visiting friends from Dubai and this place did not disappoint us. I had the hell burger which so juicy and its spice is just perfect. Also fast and great service. The grilled chicken was fine. It might have been slightly over-roasted, and wasn't exploding with Maillard flavor the way a great fire-roasted chicken is. It comes with two sauces, one a bbq sauce and the other buffalo sauce. Both had very heavy vinegar notes. The mac and cheese could have been cheesier.

Service was fast and pleasant.

“This small spot would be bustling with street traffic from the local Mount Vernon government staff at lunch to the barrage of kids getting out of school needing a snack if it were not for COVID. According to local long timers, this place has been around for a while. On recommendation I tried the grilled chicken and rice platter. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy and tender with fluffy seasoned rice underneath and a cool basic lettuce and tomato salad off to the side. All packed neatly in a styrofoam carry out box. The cucumber sauce is worth requesting extra on the side. You'll thank me later. The owner seems to always be there and is quite personable. There's also a little Jamaican booth right inside the store. They seem to stay having business. I hope both spots can withstand the effects of the city shutdown and lack of customers. I'd hate to see them close like many of their neighbors.“

“Prices are too high. In there 4 for $5.00 desl , we are being cheated. Instead of getting 4 pieces of chicken for $5.00 , we get 3 pieces of chicken and a biscuit. Also , there $ 17.99 chicken special increased to $20.00 . Many times they run out of spicy chicken and we have to wait a longer amount of time .“

It wasn't too salty when compared to other Kennedy locations. Unfortunately, the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy were not that good. The chicken tasted old and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were bland. The Birthday Cake ice cream was delicious. It was very creamy and tasted like soft serve. The fried whiting and ice cream are highly recommended.“

It's the only place I eat at in the neighborhood because when I'm in a pinch & know I'm not gonna get another chance to eat for hours, they're always ready by noon.
