“Loved this authentic diner on our short visit to Rochester. It's truly a hidden gem. Loved the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The food was exceptional. We tried their breakfast menu. We loved everything. The one thing we weren't too fond of was the hollandaise sauce on the Salmon Benedict. It wasn't as silky as it should've been. Other than that, everything else was on point. Our favorite was the nutella stuffed french toast. The french toast was warm while the fruits n whipped cream were cold. It is the perfect breakfast!“

“We love it here. We have gone several times and always have great service and yummy food. Yesterday there was a little bit of a mix up and our food took over an hour to arrive but the server recognized the error and credited half our bill and then when we were checking out the owner insisted on giving us a gift card for our next visit. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone makes mistakes once in awhile and it spoke volumes that they owned it, apologized and made it more than right! Kudos to the entire staff here!!!“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the haddock in cornmeal grits with cheese and eggs over hard at this restaurant. The seasoning on the fish was absolutely perfect! Not only was the food delicious, but it was also prepared quickly and remained warm when I picked it up. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!“
“Very busy like any breakfast spot on a Sunday morning. The staff is extremely dedicated and will make sure you're experience is a good one. From make your own omelets to biscuits n gravy this place has it all. Will definitely recommend to locals for a good breakfast place.Edit: Moving to 5 stars. I would love to see some modernization but the food is impeccable and the service is fantastic. This is definitely my first choice for breakfast if I'm not trying to spend $60 first thing in the morning.“

“Hands down BEST diner we have ever been to! We frequent the area from out of town for doctor visits and it’s always so busy…telling us it’s popular! We finally decided to give them a try! So glad we did!! Well kept-stylish exterior, absolutely beautiful interior that is so clean you’d think it was just built! Cleanest bathrooms Ive ever seen in any public place! The staff is fast, friendly and attentive. Food is absolutely amazing!! This is our new favorite place in Rochester!! Can not say enough wonderful things!“

“The only issue with the food would be the normal issues you'd have with a greasy spoon. You can use your imagination. The food itself tasted amazing and more than anything else. The waitress and cook not only have a fantastic rapport with each other but also get along so well with all of the customers that it astounded me. “Food wasn't the best, grits were super watery but I could have suggested thicker if I wasn't in a rush. Overall food was filling. Service was really nice. My tab was $15 and I tipped $100 because it was on my heart to do so and the waiter I had was such a sweet girl. Not just to me but to everyone who entered the building. “The peppermill restaurates higher than what this survey has my favorite, which is hot Turkey sandwiches. The most important part of that is the gravy. There's nobody that can beat. They're gravy and believe me, I have tried to find other places that can beat it, and it can't be done. There were 4 key points with her that soured my whole experience. Such an unpleasant attitude I wish I hadn't tipped 20%. “Parkside is a great NW of Rochester breakfast stop!I frequent this little joint with friends and family for its' amazing hollandaise sauce and constantly HOT breakfast plates! The food is fresh, simple, and done right! If they could offer an upgrade to their coffee bar (for example, an espresso machine) I think it would only increase their already booming business.I'm grateful for their fair pricing and quick turn arounds--because of these things and more; Parkside is always packed!I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because I think the place needs a deep clean and a little updating.This in no way detracts from the locals or my own overall satisfaction with Parkside! I happen to know from personal restaurant experience that it seems they could do better with profit turn around, and it would be worth the investment of continuing to update their diner. People love it here so why not expand, or renovate?What can I say, Parkside Diner is a ringer!“
