“First time in and I’m blown away. You walk right in and you feel the local friendly love from the get go. Decor is unique and lovely. The food is utterly impressive. Can I please have a lifetime of the grilled raspberry English Muffins please? Not sure about that prior comment about rude service, because I swear, I met these people only for like 30 mins and I feel like I’ve known them for a lifetime. Nicest staff, and an unbelievable experience. Thanks for the hospitality. I will be back! ❤️“

“I took an elderly friend of mine to lunch and we absolutely loved everything about it! “Shared a pizza and a salad on a date night out. Salad wasn't the one we originally ordered but it was okay. Pizza was solid. Unique area. (Village Gate) Service was excellent. If we weren't in a hurry we'd probably have reserved early and ate at standard table instead of the higher chairs near the bar.“
“We hosted our wedding reception here and had absolutely the best night! We had a list of demands and things that really needed to be done and Kristen made every one of them work. Every guest we had was amazed and loved the space and the atmosphere. The drinks were delicious and they were flexible on when we were able to open and close our tab. We would absolutely host another event here!“

“Stopped in for dinner and had a party of 4. It was a Tuesday night and told there was a 30 min wait. They offered us a high top at bar, and unfortanately it was really loud and hard to have a conversation.
The food was good. We previously had a catered event with the barbecue package and it was delicious. Was hoping those items on menu but they weren't.
We started with the artichoke cristini app. It was so good...we fought over the last one. I had an Asian pork sandwhich with sweet potato fries; my husband had a pizza and 2 other family members had burgers. No complaints about the food. Good portion sizes. Hot. Reasonable prices.“

“A Gem in Rochester! Came back to my hometown and had a surprise dinner party for my mother last night for a party of 9. The food was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. My daughter hand picked some flowers to give to her grandmother, and the waitress went back and came out with a vase for her to set her flowers in. They even took our store bought cake, cut it up and brought it back out looking like the fanciest dessert ever- drizzling with some deliciousness! Kudos to the Chef, and thank you to all at Rooney’s who made our evening so successful and such a memorable experience!“

“I LOVE this place. Create a pizza is my all time favorite spot. I’ve been coming here for years and I recommend it to every person I come across. Especially those with dietary restrictions. “10/10! I was blown away. Absolutely hands down one of Rochester’s best restaurants. Friendly and quick staff and the food… 🤤 oh the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! Thanks to the amazing chef who was so accommodating! We will definitely be back!“

“It was apparent that the new owner Vickie wants to change the whole vibe and not for the better. She could care less about accomadting you with options & if you have any food allergies. I do not recommend Nosh, not the same restaurant and feel its a turn for the worst. One out of the four meals one was acceptable we had 12/14/2023.The waitress very sweet but felt she was as frustrated as we were. Vickie the owner made no effort to accommodate us and was almost rude.I will pass this along, is a small coummiity in Rochester. Any postive reviews you read are prior to Vickie taking over restuarant.“
