“I really enjoyed my family meal here. I'm glad to see they were open - there is a lot of confusion about their operating times, so it's best to call. Food was good, prices were fair and the service was on point. Cool oldschool diner feel - some booths even still have the jukeboxes, and they work! Highly recommended.“

“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️“

“OMG if you are in the area, PLEASE give this place all your money! you will wait for a seat but baby it's well worth it!!!! you will leave with leftovers and will go back when in the area!!! it's Aahhhmazing! and it's family run and me and my girls went for a mommy daughter trip for a concert and it was a wonderful start to our second day!“

“We met Peter himself, and he could not have been lovelier. Our server was so lovely and accommodating, the food was hot and fast, and the whole experienced was topped off by our conversation with Peter. They don’t make diners, or diners-owners, like him anymore so you should stop in and say hi.“

“Our first time there. The food was excellent! So many choices that I had a hard time deciding. But I wanted pancakes all week, so that's what I got. My brother likes wheat pancakes, which they had on the menu. My friend got the gyro & Greek salad with French fries. We enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was positive & pleasant. Our waiter/server, Mario( I hope I remembered his name correctly) was very attentive & pleasant, too.
Circle M Diner is certainly worth the drive from Freeport!

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. Thank for for a great dining experience.“

“I’ve only had breakfast here but everything I've had has been excellent. The French toast is delicious. The coffee is as good as I've ever had.
My server made me feel very comfortable.
I look forward to going back to try dinner.

“In the area on business and found this gem! It appears to be family owned and run with a large selection of food, for the most part typical diner style. The food was great and service was immediate. 2 of us eat and left full for $40 after tip, tremedous bargain for this area.“

“was there this afternoon. Had a very enjoyable meal. wife had a brisket plate and me chopped steak. Have enough left over for another meal. “"We have been enjoying the Massapequa Diner for over 20 years, their food is always amazing and the warm hospitality of their staff and owners. We have dined at the diner for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we truly appreciate the benefits of supporting a local business. Although we should have written this review earlier, it took the loss of my wallet to make us realize how grateful we are for the diner's honesty and integrity. Yesterday, my husband and I had lunch at the diner, but later that night, I discovered that I had misplaced my wallet. Today, I received a phone call from Mike, the owner, informing me that someone on his staff had found my wallet. Nick held my wallet in his office to ensure its safety until I arrived. I was relieved to find that everything was untouched and still inside. We cannot thank the staff and owners of the Massapequa Diner enough for their honesty and kindness. We will continue to be loyal customers of this wonderful establishment."“
