“Great food, great staff, atmosphere is tolerable unless you to in and there are a lot of screaming kids there, but that is my own hangup. I have never had a bad meal here and the owners (yes there are multiple) are smart , savvy, and very generous with donations to the community, besides serving as volunteer firefighters. I wish more people were more community minded.“

“Shelter is a fun and relaxing place! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Love the decor❤. Our server, Daniel, was GREAT (he tolerated plenty from two crazy CT sistas). I had the Milanese (schnitzel) and my sister had the Shelter smash burger - both were fine (a ‘B’ rating). The wood-fired pizza looked amazing; kinda wish I ordered that. The Master bartender knows his craft; cocktails were incredible 🥃 Overall, GO to Shelter and enjoy!“

“One of the best places to eat I have EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. Staff is so friendly and they make you feel right at home. There Brio Cheese steak is out of this world and the California Ruban will have you Drooling for seconds and Don't get me started on the GARLIC CURLY FRIES 🍟 THEY ARE MOUTH WATERING need to stop in have breakfast lunch or dinner Open 8 am to 9pm THANK YOU“

I was bummed when the girl told me the other day that baked ziti had meat sauce!
That was a flat out lie! I would have never gotten it.

“Not one but two wood burning fireplaces going! Frosted glasses great beer selection, pool table, super nice people, cool old building, nice tv, great onion rings and fries…we will be back. Stopped on way back from Bellayre ski day.“

Large white broccoli pizza - delicious!
Pickup in 25mins, it took 28mins to get there, pizzas were hot and ready when I walked up to the counter.
Easy in, easy out right on RT209. Parking area, plenty of spots.
Can't wait to try some of their other pizzas, garlic knots and chicken wings.“

It was the choice for "fast & delicious meals" Now my discovery in Rosendale has presented me the delicious opportunity to learn the exceptional cuisine offered at The Garden House. everything I've eaten is mouth watering wonderful. The community of welcomeness is abundant each time you visit. Enjoy a 5 star meal.“

“We used to love this place. Until me and my wife are sitting at a table eating our pizza when a worker decides to clean the rugs an hour before closing. He shook the rug in the air next to our table got dirt and dust all over us and our food never going back.“
