“We were there last night for a friend’s birthday. Place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated quick. Apps, entrees and desserts were all delicious and huge servings. The pineapple tropical margarita was so tasty! Our server Dayana was very sweet and attentive. She made my friend’s birthday very special. We will definitely be going back!“

“The minute we walked in we were greeted. The menu has something for everyone. The food is made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy, upbeat but casual. It is a great spot for lunch, dinner, brews or sports. Eat in, take out available. quick and personable service. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough.“

“Had dinner there last night and it was excellent. This is the location of the former Lombardo's restaurant on lower Madison Avenue. This is a new Albany location of the legendary Hattie's in Saratoga Springs, which has been serving up southern fare since the early 1930s. There is off-street parking next to the restaurant and in a lot directly across the street. Ambiance inside is lively and the renovations in the space kept many of the old Albany elements with a mix of New Orleans, all updated and welcoming. The cocktail I had - a Vieux Carre - was mixed to perfection. Jambalaya, grit cakes, key lime pie all outstanding. Friends had the famous fried chicken and the ribs - rave reviews. Excellent service. My friend and I stayed a bit ling because we had a lot of catching up to do, and we didn't at all feel rushed, we never felt we were being pushed out. I highly recommend this little goldmine.“

“This place is amazing and food is delicious. The burgers are huge so im calling them mondo burgers now . The atmosphere is nice and staff are even better. Kate and Seth run the restaurant really well. If you any questions about food allergies or how the food is made in house Kate is the one with all the answers. “I do not recommend this place at all. Over priced frozen dinners from the corner store. Wait time to get dinner 2 hours and 36 mins. If you want a drink you have to wait 45 mins to get a simple soda. Our waiter AJ kicked butt. He was super busy. We even offered to help clean table off. The manger was a grumpy and hard to work with. We ordered wings for appetizers and it took 1 hour and 35 mins. Definitely never coming back.“
