“The best spot after a winter hike in Harriman. Got a fresh baked banana cream pie for the family and a black and white cookie. Such a wonderful assortment of items and staff was very friendly. My favorite was saying hi to the gentle giant Goliath who is the sweetest doggo. Will definitely be back!”

“Character’s is SUCH a family style restaurant. We are treated and greeted with such great energy and such nice employees. We love visiting here after we hit the NY Renaissance Faire. They fully accept us in there, costumes and all!! The Banoffee pie was especially delicious and a must try!!”

“The McDonald's is gone now and to be perfectly honest it was kind of dated but it had a lot of charm to it. From the old green roof to the Joe Rutella banner from 2015, it was a dirty place but I will always remember it deep within my heart. JOE RUTELLA FOR PRESEDENT!!!”

“Stopped by the Ramapo service area on our way to NJ .. The new look Panera is just awesome . Panera stopped doing a few of their sandwiches and panini few years back and I’m glad that they brought back some of them . Wow it was super good . My kid liked the toasted garden caprese . Just super good . Well toasted and perfect taste . Kids pasta was average . They have so much options now for vegetarians .

. What can I say.. these new service areas in 87 , all look alike the same . We went to 2-3 service areas and everything looked exactly similar and nice . So many seats to sit and eat. Very comfortable couch to take some rest during your travel. Parking was the only headache in this location. There was very small parking lot in the front of the building and we had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes to get a parking. 4 stars”

“Love Rhode's, always sit at the Bar, the Bartenders are great, always smiling and they hustle to provide drinks for the entire place and with the Bar & rest of the seating on the 1st floor and seating outside those Bartenders/Ladies never let ur Beer 🍺 run out, yes the have alot of Beer to choose from..... Food is always great. Go on the website, when they have a live band at night it's really a great night..... So if were riding or out with the GF in the Truck, Rhode's gets my vote.... 👍 💜”

“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!”

“Tonight I had the pleasure to dine at Bici restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to like it! You are greeted in such a warm and friendly manner. One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and I will be back again. Thank you staff for your hospitality. It’s a BYOB. It’s a small restaurant with outdoor dining. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!”

“The Chili Mushroom was excellent. Their portions are large when it comes to the biryani, which I liked. This the type of place you can come to hungry and leave happy. The customer service is good. Their chai tea was excellent. I've been to many different restaurants. This is one I want to come back to in the future. If you like spicy food this is the place for you.”

“Have had lunch and breakfast sandwiches at Karen’s a few times. With different selections all the time . Never disappointed. Recently had “cinnamon toast crunch honey bun “, this thing was freaking delicious. A little pricey but I wouldn’t want to ruin this treat every day. Definitely would recommend and purchase it again. This evening I had a “chicken pot pie “. What I needed was I was done was a nap. Never disappointed.”

“We hosted a surprise 60th birthday party this past weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the first call to set it up to the moment we walked out the door, the staff made sure it was such a great experience. The people who work there are so attentive and kind. The managers Bryan and Kelly were so helpful in planning our party and Ivan is a rockstar. He took care of our party of 20 and made sure we had everything we needed. We never had to look for him, he was always checking on us and providing excellent service. He truly is so great at what he does. We had a sit down lunch in their cottage room which was so nicely decorated. the space was perfect. We felt like we were in our own restaurant. It was cozy but spacious and they were so accommodating with how we wanted it set up. We were able to bring balloons and decorations and the staff even helped us set up. They had a curtain up in the doorway so we were able to really surprise the guest of honor. Our lunch was delicious. We chose to do the seated option with 3 shareable apps and we picked a menu of 4 main meals from their party menu. Most of us ordered the shepherds pie and it was some of the best we had ever had. The presentation was cute. It came in a skillet which was served on a board with Irish soda bread. It was so delicious. The show stopper was the shareable Irish egg rolls. We couldn’t stop talking about them. The drinks were really good and the bar staff was really attentive to the party. The kids ordered from the long kids menu and they really enjoyed theirs as well. The pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were able to bring our own cake and they cut it up and served it for us which was so nice. I can’t thank them enough for how special they made this experience. Everyone in our party had such an amazing time. The staff here are incredible. I would absolutely consider them for your next party.”
