“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

“Pretty busy bagel shop (Sun Late Morning) that turned out some sandwiches much faster than expected. Taylor Ham (pork roll) egg and cheese was Awesome! 3 generous cut pieces of pork roll (didn't have to order extra meat) w and egg over medium and gooey gooey cheese. Bagel itself was delish. Well worth the $9. Wife's bagel w scallion cream cheese and tomato had EXCESSIVE amount of cream cheese. But that can be fixed with the correct order verbiage on our side of the counter, no reduction as the bagel itself was again, delish.“

“Always fresh bagels and friendly staff. Best pet about the place is they gave all adults working there and the place is clean and very organized. Never a long line even when busy. Parking is convenient and they also have a great coffee bar.“

“Try the 'Quesadilla Guatemalteca' *hint this ain't the mexican quesadilla you're thinking of.Baked fresh daily here is the 'Guatamalan Quesadilla' made of rice flour and cheese. Baked in sheets and served in squares like a cornbread but a lot more interesting.Give it a try and grab a coffee to wash it down for a breakfast treat.“

“Taking off one star because they don’t post their prices you have to go online to see how much things cost. Good local deli. Staff are nice, food is comparable to other NJ delis. Price are a bit higher, but reasonable for northern NJ. There are all of the deli breakfast and lunch type sandwiches, snacks and drinks. In a strip mall so convenient for after Kid classes in an adjacent business.“

“You have to order on a kiosk, it isn't intuitive but you can figure it out. You may have to ask them for the coffee cup to get your coffee, and you may have to ask for the drinks you paid for after they call your number to come get your sandwiches/food. Food tasted great!“

“Nestled in a small strip mall next to the Mahwah train station, this deli is charming, the owner and staff are friendly (it’s family run), and the food is really good. I have been here three times in the past two weeks, and I have been very satisfied each time. I do plan on becoming a regular customer. There are daily soups and specials, the latter of which can be purchased as a single serving or family style (feeds 4-5 people). Each day of the week has its own special item, but the specials remain the same for each day from one week to the next. We recently had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Tortellini Alfredo daily special, family style. It was just for the two of us, but we got two entire meals out of it (four individual servings). It was delicious. They have an interesting and eclectic mix of menu items, including empanadas, chicken wings, gyros, taquitos, antipasto, stuffed peppers, sliders (burger, chicken, and pulled pork), meatballs, heroes, soups, salads, and desserts. While they do serve heroes, this does not appear to be the kind of deli where you go for, say, a typical roast beef or tuna fish sandwich with a side of regular potato salad. In the deli case, though, I did notice items like white meat chicken salad, country Coleslaw, green beans oreganata, pasta primavera, cucumber salad, salmon cakes, and stuffed filet of sole. There is a small selection of packaged items (potato chips, pasta), jarred items (pickles, olives, peppers, marinated mushrooms, and condiments), candy, and snacks. There are two refrigerators filled with “Grab ‘n Go” items. They also have a catering menu. For those who may want to stay and eat, there is a small countertop area with seats for four people. There is also a bench at the front window where you can sit and wait for your order to be prepared. You can join their VIP mobile club and receive a discount and daily text messages with a photo of the day’s special and pricing. There is parking directly in front of the store as well as at a right angle in front of the train station. (Those who ride the commuter train usually park on the other side of tracks in a designated parking lot.) If you live in the area, this place is definitely worth a try. “We are a family that swears by wheat products (gluten-free people don't really get along with us at mealtimes :-)) so our bread bin and pasta pantry are always full. Ever since we discovered Steins Bagels, we simply stopped buying bagels AND cream cheeses from other stores. Their bagels are deliciously chewy and satisfyingly substantial. Their cream cheeses are much tastier (and substantial) than the kind one can get from a deli in a regular grocery store. Many of their customers are regulars, and this family has joined their club :-)!“

“We were passing through and stopped for gas nearby. I was finally able to let my son taste a real cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. My husband and I (he tried it, I tasted his) tried a new thing, a bagel with salmon on it. I don't know what it's called but it was phenomenal. I will make this an intentional stop when passing through Jersey.“
