“My dad and I were in the area for a work trip and decided to drop in. I had a fantastic sausage and egg sandwich on a bagel. Everything tasted fresh and without much grease. Nice local place with good service. Will come again when we’re in the area.“

“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“The food was good, I ordered just a waffle and bacon recently, but unfortunately, the TV was tuned to Newsmax and I was told "it couldn't be changed". Now that I know the extreme political views of those in charge, I won't be spending any more of my money there. Nor will I recommend the Lakeside Diner any more. “The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“Toscana Pizza nestled between a bunch of high-quality restaurants surely can stand with the best of them. This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.“

“We have been coming here for years, and Jimmy and Andy always treat us like family! We drive from Orange County and are never disappointed. The sushi is amazing, among my favorites are the Mango Tango roll, Tiger roll, Tri Color roll and Tuna Amazing! The appetizers are small enough portions to try everything without waste!! It’s All You Can Eat, so easy to order more of what you like! But perfect sized appetizers so you don’t fill up before the sushi arrives! The sushi is always fresh and plentiful and the staff’s attention to details is unmatched. When the owners truly care about their customers, it shows and is appreciated! We were seated promptly, quickly asked which type of water we would like and the sever was over within minutes for our cocktail order. We had some west coast oysters and a Greek meatball appetizer, which were properly spaced, followed by two fish entrees - it's a smooth operation here. The almond cake for dessert was also lovely. “This was my second time coming to the restaurant the first time I came for a dine and experience, which was awesome the second time it was a pick up order to go the day before Christmas Eve. My daughter was in town and we needed something to eat while we traveled for Christmas . I ordered the spring roll the wonton soup and the chili and basil fried rice. I really enjoyed their wonton soup. The broth has a lot of flavor in it and it's always consistently good. The fried rice has egg, bell pepper, chili, and fried onion in it. The restaurant on the inside is actually quite beautiful and has some great artwork on the wall. Just not the picture and added it here. I will definitely be back. This location is always packed for takeout as well as for dinner and I'd really enjoy their food.“

“A solo night out for dinner visiting with Eddie, Ronnie & Danny who always make you feel like you are part of their family. The new space is upscale and cozy. Having a wine locker is a awesome addition being able to have a variety of wines and spirits at my disposal is a great option for a frequent diner. The lobster bisque was rich and delicious and my ribeye was cooked to perfection along with my side of mash. A taste of port wine afterwards with some strudel made the rainy evening an afterthought. “Like stepping back into the past. Place is warm and comfortable. Service is fast and friendly. Bar pies are the best. Super thin crust pizza and buffalo wings were delicious. There are Lionel trains in cases that are in amazing condition. Museum quality stuff! I have not really ordered anything else but buffalo wings and pizza, but so far it's the best wings and pies that I have had in a very long time. “I have to be honest, I moved away from this area and literally haven't eaten here in 12 years so this review is for 12 years ago. But based on the photos it looks just as good as I remember and would love to go back one day! One of the best tasting pizza I've had in all of New Jersey! “Tawara is the hidden gem of NJ! I stumbled upon this restaurant during a road trip last year, and have made it a point to return to the area specifically so I can dine at Tawara again. This place makes the list as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The pork buns are some of the most delicious things you will ever taste. The sunset roll, spicy beef and sashimi have all been fresh and incredible. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is top quality and taste. Raika is also an excellent hostess, bringing a warm and friendly vibe that makes you feel at home. Overall amazing and highly recommended!“

Our server Anthony greeted us and went over the specials. I then picked his brain about what we should try. This was somewhat of a challenge as my bestie @mishmami_ had been on an intense diet restriction with no gluten and a few other no no’s. For our starters we tried the Beer Battered Duck Tenders, served with a few dips, including their Fireside Aioli, Maple Aioli, and a Sweet & Sour. Seriously I could’ve been done right there as we were in complete heaven. I’ve never tasted Duck so juicy. But we had to keep going. My bestie had the Mushroom Chicken Soup. While I’m not a Mushroom Guy, she loved it. For our entree we both had the “Hangar Hot Sizzle”, which we finished cooking table side. I upgraded my side of fries to their outstanding Gravy Fries w/garlic aioli and Pulled Beef. Words cannot describe it as good as it was. While Chana was already full after a few bites, I assured her I would finish whatever she left over. Needless to say, as incredible as it was, I’m sitting here in the hotel room asking myself why I ate so much meat. But it was that good. After talking for what seemed like an hour, we decided to have dessert which was I think called Sundae Sundae, a mix of several flavors of non dairy ice cream with chocolate ganache.All in all an outstanding dining experience and will gladly come again the next time we are in Monsey.“
