“Tonight we had Kung Pao chicken dumplings, Asian style nachos, a couple different tacos and a quesadilla. The nachos are amazing and are my faves. Lively bar scene while waiting for tables. The service is always friendly and the servers make good recommendations.“

“We were smart enough to get here early on a Saturday...5pm arrival like a bunch of blue hairs and it was good planning. We got a booth for 4 close to the front and within 15 minutes all other tables were loaded.

I can't say enough about what a great experience it was here...the cocktails were RIDICULOUS (see photos) and that's coming from 2 of us out of our party of 4 who can shake up some mean concoctions on our own. The service was outstanding and the food was definitely NOT an afterthought on the part of the owner and chef. We had a whipped ricotta appetizer which was not skimpy (we considered licking the plate, but refrained). I ordered the burger and it was an excellent choice. I forget what my husband ordered, but had meatball appetizer, I believe. All were happy, that's for sure. The service was top notch...our glasses were never empty! We each had 3 cocktails and took an Uber home. Some might complain it was pricey for what we ate and drank, but I know what goes into funky cocktails and they were booze forward (for those who wanted that) so not sugared up to mask a lack of alcohol. I greatly appreciated that.

This restaurant is a perfect blend of comfortable surroundings, upscale finishes, and well presented, lovingly prepared cuisine. “I went there at one in the morning the night my daughter was born. It was Sunday night so it wasn't too crowded but given the hour it's understandable. I drank a beer and and went home. the people were nice the beer was cold and that night was 26 years ago and they are still there, open for business and standing tall. “I cannot even begin to say how amazing this place is. They spared no expense decorating and renovating this space. The food was fantastic and is very reasonably priced. They have a huge center bar and lots of Hibachi tables and seating if you are getting Sushi. PLUS a robot brought our food! Ask for Alec! He took great care of us!“

“My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! “We had dinner there tonight for the first time and it will not be our last. Absolutely adorable back room ambiance and both the food and the service were fantastic! Bella was our waitress and she was outstanding. Patient, extremely knowledgeable and helped us explaining many menu items helping us make our selections. The food was sooooo good. Homemade cornbread to die for. I would give the truffle macaroni and cheese was a 10!!! The garlic Parmesan wings delicious and also the spinach and artichoke pizzetta. We had white sangria that was awesome as well as apple crumb pie Ala mode. Every single item was really honestly so delicious!!!! We enjoyed our experience and will definite back again!“

“Oh my goodness, my family went to Billie’s for Easter Dinner last night! The food was out of this world. Everything we got was spot on from the appetizers to the dessert! The service was amazing, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to enjoy a night out. I’m looking forward to going back when the weather is a bit warmer and eating on their back deck. Shout out to Marcia for handling a table of 12 on a Saturday night with ease. “horrible experience. went before we saw vic dibitetto at staller center and they offered us 20% off our bill because of the show. made a reservation online and we were seatly pretty quickly but it pretty much went downhill from there. they had one waitress and she was overwhelmed. food took an hour and was cold by the time we got it. lesson learned and we wont be going again.“

“I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“

I literally ate lunch nearby and had horrible service elsewhere, saw margaritas and tried to salvage my Sunday.
