“A beef empanada from this cart on Austin Street was the first thing I ever ate when I moved to NYC. Y'all, it was GREAT. The local who insisted I had to grab one as we walked by absolutely knew what he was talking about. Abuela's Empanadas was my introduction to the fat-kid status that would come to describe the entire time I lived in New York City as a Midwestern transplant, lol. I still remember my eyes popping out of my head as I realized how good this was and that if this was what I was getting from a random food cart, I'd want to try every restaurant in the city.“

“My mother and Daughter stopped in this beautiful shop after a little shopping at the local thrift store . They had so many healthy options . Fruit and yogurt bowls ,natural juices , immunity shots , smoothies . My mother and I got veggie patties (delicious). My daughter opted for the Salmon bite salad . When that salad came out both me and mother wanted another to share . The shop owners and workers were kind and patient . The store had a lot to offer and the space was neat a clean even while they were working on a batch of immunity shots.
( Sherri let me taste what she was working on) everything was great definitely going back for that Salad .“

“When going through the vegan options in LaGuardia, I was surprised to see much more limited choices than I would expect. I had lunch at Green Leaf’s. They had impossible as an option, but it was naturally vegetarian. The staff were on top of it though. They asked if I was vegan and then switched the pita for a wrap, removed cheese and sour cream and freely subbed in hummus and balsamic. It was tasty option as far as airport food goes, but the staff’s full understanding of my dietary restrictions made it the easy best choice. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-14“

“Burger Baby by Wonder absolutely exceeded my expectations! I had the truffle burger, and it was incredible perfectly cooked, so juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Wonder also has cookies that were just as amazing. My son absolutely loved them and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. It’s definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

“In a world filled with overpriced beverage slop, the couple who manage this oasis of a shop provide some of the best tasting smoothies in the entire city. (Im including all boroughs). I think I could go broke drinking smoothies so I take pride in this hobby even if it’s essentially useless.

Also, the prices are just freaking affordable. There should be no reason that anyone who wants to enjoy the fruits of our great earth shouldn’t have an opportunity to. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and cheese and to say that sounds like OK yeah whatever, however, at the proprietors recommendation, I got that and so began my ascent into culinary Shangri-La! I also ordered the Indian scrambled eggs and had her add a little curry to it as well, and I say this next thing as a lifelong breakfast chef:
These were the best scrambled eggs I have ever put in my face! I could have continued to eat them until I was in pain and then I would still be sad to stop! However, the portion was perfect for me and my ever grazing fiancé! We also got two of the fresh juices, the anti-inflammatory and the veggie lovers and these were also next level delicious very large and everything was completely reasonably priced. I want to try out as many places as I can while I’m in New York briefly, but we’re gonna eat breakfast here again tomorrow! This is just too good!“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

Stopped in quick while running errands in the area.
Foodie partner got a coffee while I got a coco açaí bowl (I just can’t resist 😩)
Acai bowl was quickly made and fresh. Med being around $8 and large $10. I got a med and enjoyed it!
All came out to around 15

“I stopped by this juice station recently and was really impressed. Everything tasted super fresh and you can tell they use good quality fruit. The juice was made right in front of me and the flavor was amazing — not overly sweet, just natural and refreshing.

Since they opened I been going at least once a month and it never disappoints. No offense to the crew on 125th but this one just has the juice! (pun intended). They always give you a little left over and let you modify with no problems.

“This is one of my fave coffee shops in NYC! I lived all over Bedstuy & Bushwick & when I moved to JH I was on the hunt for a real Almond Croissant & americano. I finally found it here.
All the pastries are made downstairs. The spinach or guava empanadas & the espressos and cold brew are also top notch. We go here so much that we have gotten to know the owner!“

“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

“Nice spot to grab some boba tea or smoothies. Most of the drinks are phenomenal, and the boba itself is sweet, but not overpowering, and is chewy, but not too chewy, making it perfect to my liking. I also enjoy how I am available to change the sugar and ice content, giving me the ability to tailor it to my liking even further. My only complaints are that the blender is loud, making it hard to communicate and understand the server. Also, the drinks from the “Butterfly Pea” series taste like water after a while.
