The restaurant was really nice, food really good, but they had a guitar player that was so loud you could not speak to the person across from you. I would only go back without the live music, the DJ was very good after.
Great food! We sat at the bar and had couple appetizers...Escargo and Salmon Tartare...and drinks. They have live entertainment on Thursdays too.
I visited in September off-season on a Friday night. Food is ok, probably over seasoned. Desserts are over-the-top. I miss Red Bar Brasserie the French brasserie (“Big Red”) formerly in the same location.
Enchanté Bistro in Southampton offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with excellent food and service. The general manager, Corrado, provides superb hospitality and a glass of champagne upon arrival. The Dover sole is meticulously filleted, and the Soufflé dessert is a must-try, although it requires pre-ordering. The decor is charming, with a cute swing outside, and the French onion soup is described as sublime. While there may be some attention to detail issues for vegetarians, the overall dining experience is highly recommended. Dishes like mussels, beet salad, and scallops are outstanding, making this restaurant a great choice for a delicious meal in Southampton.
