“I’ve been a Water Mill/Southampton 2nd home resident for 31 years and have enjoyed Hampton Coffee Water Mill and Southampton since they opened. I go back far enough to remember the space as a garage/gas station. The coffee is the best! Baked goods are excellent (I do wish they still made the low fat corn muffins), the Water Mill outdoor space is enchanting. Eric the owner is always present and a very pleasant guy.“

“Shinnecock Lobster Factory makes amazing lobster rolls! I ordered a warm, buttery “whale” roll. You could have ordered a small “dolphin,” a medium “shark,” or a large “whale” and the whale roll has the most lobster meat. The whale roll is more expensive but I think it was worth it. I bought a raspberry iced tea for my drink. There is only outdoor seating, including a grass area you can bring dogs. You order at the window and bring the food to the tables with benches. There is no indoor seating. The restaurant is a quick 5-minute drive from downtown Southampton. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back!“

“Family night is amazing! $10 menu for kids, with tons of FREE activities for the kids! Bath bomb booth, Slime decorating, Tote bag stencil-air brushing, for all ages, and a whole play dough area for little ones! Definitely go on a Monday between 5&7!“
“This is such a cozy little brewery that it feels more like a boutique than brewery. They even have a small menu of fancy sounding cocktails, which appear to change frequently and based on holidays. The fun little space does have some outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly during our visit, so we stayed inside chatting with one of the most genuine beertenders we've ever met.Our favorite beer of the visit was the North Shore Red Ale, and the Sexy MF was a close runner up.I wouldn't recommend large groups here, but they can certainly accommodate a few parties of 6 without overwhelming the taproom.“

“Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. My colleague had a burrito and quesadilla. Both look amazing. Fresh tasting great quality ingredients. My pictures aren’t the best as we could wait to eat! Must try take away if you’re near.“

I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!“

“Wow, for us to be seated party of four, to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the swordfish and it was very good. Ordered the Keylime pie for dessert and it was not quite up to my expectations. Very creamy, but I am taste was lacking and the crust was a little overcooked that the experience was very good. I get back into the neighborhood I will stop again.“

“We had a wonderful time visiting Duck Yard Vineyard. The tasting included four wines, and the staff pouring them were kind and personable, making the experience enjoyable.
There was also live music, which added a nice touch, though the placement made it difficult to really hear the performance.
One note is that when we first called, the person who answered came across a bit rude, but once we arrived, the experience was lovely. Overall, it’s a beautiful vineyard and we still had an amazing time.“

“Calissa has truly become one of my favorite year-round spots in the Hamptons. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is gorgeous, and the team makes you feel taken care of from the second you walk in. I recently went for their Winter Chalet and had such a great time. The whole après-ski setup is super cozy, wintery, and so well done. Between the cocktails, the warm lighting, and the ski-lodge feel, it honestly felt like a little getaway in the middle of Water Mill. The mezze, the seafood, the service — everything was on point. If you’re looking for a place that nails both the food and the vibe, Calissa is it. Highly recommend!“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“
