“This place has great food. The service was awesome, too. Parking can be difficult to find, however. What makes this place stand out is the waterfront views you get. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. My favorite of these 3 items was the fried chicken sandwich. Loved how it was prepared. But everything we tasted we would recommend. We had a fun time hanging out here.“

“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. “I really liked the sweet plantains but the churros were super small and came in the pieces but ice cream was large for no reason cause the churros were literally smaller than my fingers , I liked the the empanadas and the street corn a-lot , they’re were also kind enough to send some extra sauce that I asked for , they were super friendly on the phone .“

“Second time at the Bayhouse and it was okay. Bayhouse is definitely a good place to go for a nice view. You can see the water from every part of the restaurant. I got the boiled seafood combo that contained flounder, shrimp, broccoli and potatoes. It was definitely breaded and topped with a lemon sauce. Flavor is definitely there, but I will say the sauce was very oily. Crème brûlée cheesecake was 10/10!! Overall the food was good. Although our server was nice service was very slow.“

“Came here last night for some drinks and dinner, was super pleased with the experience. We got there a little early, so the place wasn't packed. The drinks were delicious! Definitely hit the spot. The Mr Dre burger was huge and delicious. The chimi was on point and really large for only $6. The only complaint is that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the saltier side. Aside from drinks and food they also have hookah and a DJ so the place is definitely popping on a Saturday night. Worth the visit!“

“We walked in off the street on a Friday night around 6 o'clock and found a sports bar with lots of TVs and a small dimly lit restaurant area. I had seen this place in yelp several times but never stopped in before. I did remember I got lots of really good reviews so we decided to try something new. It was definitely no frills but the food is the attraction here. We were greeted by the owner, chef AJ, who bought the place last month. All the reviews were a year old so I said to my wife "uh-oh". It turns out the only thing on the menu was chicken and ribs, we ordered two combo plates. The chicken was delicately fried and a dry rub style crust so it wasn't breaded - just seasoned. It was perfectly cooked and tasted terrific. Even the breast meat was cooked thoroughly but juicy and tender. But I'll leave the best part for last. The ribs are to die for!! They are bite-thru tender and juicy and the bbq sauce out of this world. It's sweet yet tangy with a little bit of spice that makes you wanna pu your lips when eating and lick your fingers every time cause you don't want to miss a drop. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the decor was pretty depressing. They need to bring in a little bit more lighting and a few more tables, But as long as Chef AJ is cooking I'll be back!!“

“One of the staples of Long Beach. Real cool, retro, beachy sports bar with good food. Billy is the man and he's always around. Bartenders are always friendly. They serve food late. Big round bar with all the tv's and games on. Menu is diverse, they got tex Mex stuff, awesome wings, burgers, tidbits. They have sandwiches and quesadillas and other entrees. The bartender commented she was glad the music cocked out by a mistake and I had to gladly agree, because it indeed was a vibe, but obnoxiously too loud to even converse without screaming in your neighbors ear. The food was really good. Lamb was a little too well done, but I just sampled a piece from my friend. She may have ordered it that way. I didn’t like that the food took way too long to arrive. The drinks were good and strong. The tacos and my friends’ entree (the lamb) arrived first leaving me feeling awkward waiting. When I did receive my food, as I was enjoying the last of it, my friend got the check so we could pay and not have to wait as we wanted to leave by a certain time. Unfortunately, as we paid our bill the bartender automatically threw napkins in my 2/3 finish entree. Subsequently, she took away my meal before I could completely finish it while simultaneously dumping my condiments all over by accident. What an icing on the cake. The food was actually good, so I am complaining that I didn’t get to finish it.Lastly, I was able to park in the childcare parking lot adjacent to this business. Would I return again yes, but probably not at the bar.“
