“Went to the Burnin' Barrel BBQ (Homestretch Grill) at Batavia Downs with Dad and Mom. Tried the Half-rack of Smoked Ribs while my parents had the Pulled Piggy (no bun) & onion strings. Absolutely delicious. Portions were generous and the BBQ sauce was amazing! Very beautiful mural in the dining area too!“

“Food was delicious, we all had the stuffed haddock. Garlic mashed we're not really hot and seemed like either leftovers or just say for a few hours. We had French onion soup and seafood bisque which all was delicious! I think it server was Chris, very attentive. That's hard to find. Prices were so reasonable I would definitely go back. Many other customers ordered the fish fry so I'll try that next.“

“Arrived at 7:55 unaware that this establishment closes @8 pm. I asked what time they close and the owner said 8 pm. I went to leave and he said wait where are going. We close at 8 but as long as you sit before you have time. Waitress was friendly and wasn't acting as we bothered her. Even the other waitresses were talking to us and joking around! phenomenal service Definitely do not find this hospitality or customer service now days! Sport of Kings you are top notch in our book. We appreciate and thank you so much!“

“We found this place when looking for something new for us, not too terribly far from our sons home in Chili,NY ( about 15 miles) We had a wonderful breakfast (fresh cut and cooked potatoes for homefries) with a pleasant surprise of chopped green pepper added. Portions were very generous. I had french toast with a large serving of fresh blueberries on top. My son’s westen omelette was too big for him to finish. I can’t say enough about the service. Our server was quite the multitasker, very busy, all the while being as polite and pleasant as anyone I’ve ever met. (Good for her! Maybe others will pass that friendliness around.) We can’t wait to try the lunch menu next! Don’t hesitate to give them a try!“

“Food was very good, portion sizes were generous, and the service was great. It was obviously a placed favored by locals. If you are in the area and looking for a good meal at a fair price, I recommend this diner.

A note on the atmosphere - the place hasn't been updated in a while but it's not run down. The atmosphere is friendly, not fancy. I was fine with that.“

The Belfast Sandwich and the poutine along with the Irish Nachos were incredible. They are a must have on your next visit. “It’s very family friendly atmosphere, but there is a lot going from multiple TVs to large groups on a daily basis if you are another person have anxiety of large groups or get overstimulated easily I do not recommend going here. It is a lot going on. I counted nine TVs in my view playing multiple different things with multiple different volumes. It’s a lot to take in but other than that the service is great the staff is incredibly nice. The food is good for what it is. And for the price of the food, it’s a good place for if you’re on a budget.“

“Had fun at the casino drinks were good but not as advertised. We were promised 416 ounce drafts in the glass they put it in was 12 ounces. The plastic glass did say 16 ounces on the bottom but my 12 ounce bottle of beer just fit in it. I questioned the bartender. She rolled her eyes in disgust and said oh well but had a fun other than that.“

“Bourbon & Burgers in Batavia is always a go-to spot for me. The Burning Love burger is hands-down my favorite — perfectly spicy, loaded with flavor, and cooked just right every time. Their beer selection is consistently great, with something solid to pair with any meal. On top of all that, the prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality you get. Easily one of the best places around for a laid-back, delicious meal.“

“By far one of the best fish fries, battered and breaded!!! Soup, salad came with dinners for only $16 a dinner!!! We ordered 3 double drinks and the bill was only $60. “The service was fantastic even though it was really busy. When we got to the door one of the employees actually held the door open for us! Our waiter was very friendly and very efficient even though he was handling a lot of customers. The food was very hot and perfectly seasoned.
