4 Best Mexican Restaurants near Stanfordville

“This used to be an old school diner in Stanfordville about 20 years back, and now a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant. The food has gotten much better in the last year or so. Really good service, live music outdoors on Fridays, gets quite busy when it's beautiful weather out... and I have to give it five stars for having all of the above in upstate New York. Of course, you won't find any diversity here in the crowd, but the pork tacos are great, same with the trio enchiladas. We also got the stuffed peppers and tamales. It'll never taste like the tacos you find alongside roads in Mexico, but I really enjoy this family operated joint in the middle of Dutchess county. Nice ambience indoors and out!“

They all came out hot, fresh and delicious, with a smile on her face. This is a hidden gem that we have visited several times before and have never been disappointed. The food and service have always been great. True Mexican cuisine in a very cozy atmosphere. It's a BYOB to add to it's charm.“
