“I love this place, it's my go to lunch after school. I always order their lunch special which is 2 rolls of sushi with miso soup and a salad for around 12 dollars. I've only tried their sushi but i can say it's one of the most delicious sushi restaurant I've been at. The workers there are also very nice.“

“This is a typical Chinese American place. In addition to the usual fare, they also offer fruit teas. The takeout is decent, and the staff are quick to take the order. I've never had a problem with the takeout service-wise. The restaurant itself was a bit dim in the day, and I wasn't sure where the extra seating was, but I also didn't go beyond the cashier. Overall, it's a decent spot in the area to scratch that Chinese American food itch.“

“Not sure of these recent bad reviews, because I’m here at least once a week for the last 10 years of my life. The owner, Phil is very friendly and very accommodating upon any dietary restrictions or could literally tell him what you feel like having in a sense and he got you. Neighborhood place that’s been here since I can remember and him & his wife are here 24/7 to make sure everything is fine with every order. Not to mention every order is made in front of your face (very clean kitchen)

Aside from Wo-Hop in the city, Dragon House & Phil are really my go to spot. I know him my whole life and know I’m getting food cooked the same way with same ingredients.“

“My best friend and I visited Susukino Ramen last night and it was honestly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We decided to try their $29 dinner special, which includes your choice of ramen, sushi, and an appetizer — and it was absolutely worth it.

Everything came out fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The ramen was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the portion size was perfect. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh and well-balanced, and you could tell care was put into the preparation. Even the appetizer exceeded expectations — nothing felt rushed or thrown together. Every dish was consistent and high quality.

The atmosphere really made the night even better. The restaurant felt cozy and warm but still spacious and comfortable. It wasn’t overcrowded or loud, which made it the perfect setting to relax, catch up, and enjoy a good meal. The lighting and overall vibe created such a welcoming environment — especially for sushi and ramen.

“We enjoyed dining at Palm Street. Interesting variety. Lychee shrimp balls were on point. Hot /sour soup 👍. Wok dish string bean basil was excellent. The scallops/spaghetti dish was not well executed thus the four star on food quality. Cheesecake was a great finish. Both servers were attentive and friendly. We'd come back.“

The staff is friendly and attentive offering exceptionally high quality cuisine. The restaurant is known for its fresh, expertly prepared sushi at competitive prices. It has become a popular dining choice within the community. Our order included the Boston Roll, Dragon Roll, and hand-rolled California Rolls, all of which were consistently delicious and fresh.“

“Stopped by for some takeout before heading back to Brooklyn and was presently surprised. The shop is no frills basic Chinese and Japanese takeout. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.“
