“Lee’s Tavern is a staple on Staten Island, and for good reason. The pizzas are among the crown jewels of Staten Island, and the bar itself is just a classic, cozy, hole in the wall kind of place.

We had fried calamari, an Italian shredded pork hero, a white clam pie, and a regular pie (half with sweet peppers). The calamari was great. It was fried perfectly and the hot marinara sauce was really good with a nice kick. The pork hero was very basic, and though it lacked a bit in flavor, the ingredients all tasted very fresh and the cheese was melted very nicely, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The pies at Lee’s speak for themselves. The white clam pie is delicious, it’s a perfect balance of garlic, cheese, and that classic Italian clam taste. The regular pie is also just so fundamentally perfect. It’s crisp, thin, and the sauce is perfect.

The service at Lee’s is also exceptional with extremely friendly staff. My only complaint would be that Lee’s is cash only, though they do have an ATM inside. The pizza more than makes up for the cash only rule though.“

“I'm from out of town so I was really excited to try some of the local food spots in this area and this place did not disappoint. There was a bit of a language barrier but the staff was very helpful and offered me a menu in English. I ordered the salmon and I also had the spare ribs to go. Listen..... the food was amazing the drinks are very good. The bartender very beautiful and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. Good music . Overall a great experience. 5 star for sure“

“This place is a solid bar, I came here on a friday night for a little nite cap around midnight and overall I had a decent time. The bar is a no frills place with three sports tvs, a juke box, at least 15 seats by the bar and some other chairs around the rest of the place. There is also shuffle board and two darts with a scoreboard which is fun. They have a great beer menu from Blue Moon to Angry Orchard, Corona, White Claw, High noon, etc. for only 5 bucks [they have at least 8 beers on tap for only $5 too]. I also saw a lot of whiskey and vodka options if you wanted to do shots or mixed drink [$7 for a shot]. The problem is the shot glasses are so small, it doesn't resemble an ounce and a half which is standard size in other bars, I felt like the plastic cup they gave me reminded me of cough medicine sizes. The bartender was super nice and friendly, he talks with most patrons and makes sure the place doesn't get too rowdy. However my fiancé felt like he was fishing for tips when he would give you a 5 dollar bill back as change. When I came there was a girls birthday with her friends and she was able to put out sandwiches and catered food of her own. I kinda felt guilty invading her space but it was nice to see that the bar lets you do your own thing. The crowd seemed fairly mixed crowd when I came, from college frat boys to young girls in their 20's or groups of men in their 30s and 40s. I did feel it was a little crowded but that seemed more based on cliques then the space itself. In terms of food, they do sell chips nuts and a tombstone pizza but there isn't much space to eat unless you sit at the actual bar. I think if this place rearranged the furniture and had an outdoor backyard they could successfully have more dining. I would definitely come back here for another night cap or to watch a sports game.“

“I’ve been going to W’s for years now. The burgers and wings are off the hook good. The waitress can’t do enough for you. Great restaurant to take the family to eat and also a friendly bar to watch sports. Very reasonable priced. You definitely won’t go hungry or thirsty at W’s. Well worth trying out. “This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots on Staten Island. The atmosphere is great with a really clean modern bar, TVs for the games, and a lively dining room that makes it perfect whether you’re going out with friends or just grabbing dinner.

The pizza here is phenomenal. The crust has that perfect crisp with a soft center and the ingredients taste really fresh. Every time I come here I end up ordering pizza because it is just that good. It is easily some of the best pizza on Staten Island.

What surprised me the most though is how strong the rest of the menu is. The appetizers are excellent. The fried calamari was fresh and perfectly cooked and the mozzarella sticks were loaded with flavor. You can tell the kitchen really cares about the food they put out.

They also serve great steaks which makes the place even better if you are going with people who want something different than pizza. The menu has a really nice balance between classic Italian dishes, appetizers, pizza, and steak options.

The service has always been friendly and the vibe inside makes you want to stay for a while, especially if you are sitting near the bar watching a game.

Highly recommend this spot if you are on Staten Island. It has amazing pizza, great appetizers, and solid steaks all in one place. Definitely worth checking out.“

“We had such an amazing experience at The Rock House! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is incredible — everyone’s in a great mood, super friendly, and ready to have fun. We went for the Halloween party, and they absolutely nailed it. The band was fantastic, the music was excellent, and the whole place had this awesome ‘80s throwback feel — from the décor to the energy. The food came out fast, tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable. The Halloween-themed drinks were creative and fun, and the bar staff was quick, smiling, and clearly enjoying the night. The place was packed but still felt friendly and comfortable — we ended up meeting so many great people. You can tell The Rock House puts a lot of heart into what they do. Overall, this is a class act bar that knows how to throw a party. “We had our daughter's surprise graduation party at Max's Esca last night. Every single thing was outstanding- from the atmosphere, to the service, the drinks and the food. They created a beautiful, private space in the main dining room for us to decorate. Christina and Chrissy (& the rest of the staff!) took excellent care of everyone, and Nicole's cocktails were spot on. The food was incredible, as usual! Highly recommend!“

“Upon answering I was greeted and seated. The appetizers which were the nacho chips tasted freshly made and the chicken and steak tacos were delicious. I also had the Elote corn which was so good comes with three.. and I love the piña colada but I had it without alcohol.. they do have an open bar. Def would go back.“

Got the classic wings (crispy with great sauce options), Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and a burger—food was tasty, hot, and satisfying for arcade eats. Service was friendly and quick (server kept our Power Cards loaded and drinks coming). Atmosphere is electric: tons of games, huge TVs for sports, lively energy without being overwhelming—great for groups, dates, or family nights. Spent about $40-60 per person including games. Highly recommend—total blast!“
