About El Patron Restaurant & Lounge Bay Street

El Patron Restaurant & Lounge offers a mix of experiences. The food is generally delicious, with highlights like the skirt steak with shrimp and the passion fruit sangria. It is the best speakeasy in New York City, consistently outstanding. The tacos are authentic and delicious with amazing sauces, and the quesadillas are humongous. The henny horchata and margaritas are great, plus the prices are unbeatable. The interior is very welcoming. Overall, it provides a good dining atmosphere with room for improvement.

The atmosphere is nothing fancy and it smells a little funky BUT the food is amaaazing and their drinks PUNCH! I love dining in despite the negatives because what matters most, like their hospitality, is in point!! It’s a neighborhood hot spot!

I came here for the first time. The atmosphere was pretty empty. I came on a Friday evening. I ordered guac and chips which was very flavorful and delicious! I also ordered the quesadilla which caught me by surprise. It was huge but looked more so like a burrito instead of a typical quesadilla which is round flat and cut into fours. For my drink I had the tipsy mermaid. What a cool name! The drink was decent. I left with a nice little buzz. My waiter was Chris. He was pleasant,...read full review
