Do not be fooled by the 2 "$$'s" next to the name of Puglia of Hester street. Puglia's is a force to be reckoned with. A top notch restaurant. One of the best on the island. I don't make much but I am willing to drop over a hundred dollars here simply because I can't resist the impeccable food, the perfect service, and the "bottoms up" best house wine I've ever tasted or presumably will taste. Great restaurant..starting from the bread to their fish specials.. for appetizers I tried the stuffed artichoke and escargot which was phenomenal. ..for dinner my girlfriend tried their paella Valenciana off their Spanish menu while I tried the special branzino mare chiara over linguini and I loved it...their sauce is amazing and it was all a relaxing experience ...I will definitely be going back..
