“Truly amazing food. We were in the area Saturday and found Gappy’s as a nearby place to eat on our Google map app. We took a chance and could not have been more thrilled. It does not look like a lot in the outside and I think that was appealing to us. We were hungry and tired. The inside was beautiful though. Very very clean. The bartender told us that we could sit anywhere we’d like. She immediately brought us over menus and got us a couple of drinks. The menu was huge and offered so many different dining options that no one could leave there hungry if they tried. I ordered the Gappys sampler appetizer and my husband had the fried ravioli and we split a salad. We probably should have stopped there because we were gently full at that point. Our large pizza came out. We had the meat lovers and added mushrooms and jalapeño peppers. It was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly thin. we were only able to finish less than half of it but did take the rest home. Service was attentive. Prices were great and the food was amazing!!“

“Finally tried this place after passing by many times on our trips to Eastdale. The food was fantastic! The menu is a bit limited to 2 appetizers, a handful of salads, and a good variety of 9 pizzas, with a great variety of toppings offered. Yes, it's pricey. You don't go to Eastdale expecting a bargain. When I looked online prior to visiting, it appeared that they also offered some dessert, but I also had absolutely no room left for dessert. Drinks are basic beers/wines and sodas. I would skip the rose next time. I paid $11 for a single glass when a bottle retails for $13.99, but that's true of any restaurant. We started out with the cheese/olives/meat and jam app, which was really plentiful for 3 people. For pizzas, we had the grana Padano pie and added pepperoni and the Hot Honey pie. Both pies were absolutely delicious and were more than enough for two adults and one child. Before ordering, we asked how big the pies are, so they gave us a good estimate. One pie would not have been enough. The pies are bigger than personal sized pizzas, but they are not as large as a typical carry out pizzeria pizza. Overall, the food was really delicious, and the pizzas were perfectly cooked, and the hot honey pie was absolutely fantastic. It was a great mix from the salty meat, the sweet/hot honey and the roasted garlic. When we are in the mood for sit down, slightly more upscale pizza, we will definitely return.“

I added a 1/2 tray of eggplant rollatini and also tortellini primavera and this easily fed 30 people (with leftovers!) “M&J's Catered food for my party, everything was Delicious! I ordered trays of Penna ala vodka, chicken marsala, eggplant rollatini, Walldorf salad, and Chicken Milanese panini. I can't recommend this place enough whether for lunch/dinner or catering events! The chicken Milanese Panini is absolutely amazing!!“

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“Not one to typically leave reviews but this place really deserves it! Long story short this was my second time ordering there and when I arrived they accidentally misheard my order over the phone (most likely my fault due to poor service) and the gentleman I spoke to was very cool, professional and polite! He immediately sprung into action to make the correct order which didn’t take long…Food is 10/10 just like the first time and I would highly recommend anyone to check it out if you haven’t already!!“

“A hidden gem. Unlike other Italian restaurants in Brewster, they know how to make a tomato sauce that actually tastes like tomatoes! And is light on the salt, unlike the salt bombs at the most popular Italian restaurant nearby. The food is positively delicious. And their family meals are both delicious and a bargain. We had a last minute family get together, and ordered 5 family meals. It was a huge amount of food, and they had the entire order ready in 30 minutes. On a Saturday night!!!! We were certain that we would have ample leftovers, at least 1/3. But it was all devoured! Because everyone loved the food. “This is a very nice pizza place, I live down the road and can walk there. The people working there are nice, respectful and are willing to help out their customers. (I was even offered a ride home by the delivery driver when it was raining the other day) The food is delicious and made right, and I get pizza here a lot. Not only are they a pizza place, but they're your typical gas station store where you can get chips, soda, beer and ice cream. They also have a deli.

The only complaint I have is the prices, a large plain pie costs ~$30.00 and the chips are ~$2.70 for a small bag and ~$5.30 for a large.

Still a very nice store and I hope to work there!“
