“Best pizzeria in this part of Hudson valley sorry to say Hudson valley has the worst pizza this one is at least edible and the people are great prices are reasonable service was fast they're Sicilian is greatParking: Plenty of parking very hard to get back out onto 9WKid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly pizzeria they do have TVs it's just a pizzeriaWheelchair accessibility: It does have wheelchair accessibility as far as a ramp and straighten a door“
“So I stroll in to this place looking for the next great pizza find and BOOM! This place is a great throw back atmosphere! Counter and table seating. The service is excellent with a great attitude towards the customer. I had what they call Grandma's Pizza. I would say I would be hard pressed to find better pizza! Bar Stool would grade this in the high 7-8 range. I had to have a second then a THIRD slice! I did not want to leave! Great place, great, great slice!“
“When have you ever heard of a pizzeria making an Amazing burger?? Tosi's burgers are HUGE and flavorful!! Nthats just the burgers..ALL of there dinners are ABSOLUTELY timeless..My person favorite is the stuffed shells n lasagna!! Heros are just as great!! N quick quick quick“
“Nothing like a taste of home. This pizza hits the mark on Detroit style pizza. One of things we’ve been missing since moving to the east coast. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza here, the service was excellent, and what Detroit pizza place would be complete without Vernor’s. Hudson & Packard has it all.“
“We love Rosie's! The owners are just so warm and friendly. The food is always fresh and yummy. My wife loves the fried zucchini sticks and Meatball Sliders. I like everything at Rosie's. Go and enjoy an excellent meal in a classic pizza restaurant setting.“
“Excellent pizza and other very authentic Italian fare (the pepper stuffed with caponata was extraordinary) makes this no ordinary pizza joint, but a high quality restaurant. Loved the fennel and radicchio salad, too. And don't miss the fried artichokes! As a native of Rome, where artichokes are a big part of the local cuisine, these guys make w flawless version.“
“Naples has the BEST pizza and food hands down! The service is great too. I have never had anything but great tasting food from Touch of Naples and I’ve been going there since they opened. Try the salad pizza - it’s amazing! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here.“
“Stopped in after a walk across the Hudson ! What an amazing surprise . The warm welcome, the choices with cocktails and the food are top notch ! Have been looking for a place like this for some time now . Can’t wait to go back . We had the warm olives and we both couldn’t believe how great olives are heated up ! The pizza is absolutely amazing love the crust. The Mac & Cheese was so delicious and comforting omg !! Looking forward to the next time loved it here !“
“The owners there was so incredibly nice I wanted to love the food so bad so I'm so happy it was good ?. Good prices, good portion, tasty meatball (I'm a big meatball guy and like I said awesome owners. They have daily specials that are of a huge variety. This is my new lunch spot going forward I encourage anyone in the area that hasn't tried them yet do so.Kid-friendliness: I will absolutely be bringing my nieces and nephews hereWheelchair accessibility: No stairs all one lever easy in easy out which is important as I work with people that use wheel chairs.“
“I haven’t ordered from TJs in a long time due to my food always being cold when delivered. It hurt because I loveee TJs (esp their cheesecakes, best in Poughkeepsie, better than pastry garden, argue with ya mutha) …. Anyway, I gave TJs another chance last night. Ordered wings (crispy), cheese fries, cheesecake and a large pie (well done)… it was prob one of the first times in a longgg time that my cheese fries didn’t need to be reheated. I put the food inside and chased my delivery driver to give him a bigger tip. I think I was so shocked I forgot to grab my soda from him ? His named was Mark, super nice guy awesome service… the kids and I were so happy. I don’t even write reviews!! If Marks not there I’ll just pick up my order from now on.“
“The pizza was good and I enjoyed it. BUT...I would not sell it as "chopped cheese" it did not taste or remind me of a chopped cheese. Believe me, I was born and raised in the Bronx and know a thing or 2 about chopped cheese. Also, it was a tad shy on the meat(see pic) for the price I paid.“
“Came in for the first time after work to grab dinner. My takeout order was ready in minutes. They brought the food out to my car where I was waiting. And the food was phenomenal! I cleaned my plate. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and delicious. The coleslaw was perfect. Even the cornbread was moist. There weren't any leftovers. But I'll be back.“
“Excellent local casual restaurant. We’ve only been here twice in the past five years, mostly recently March 2024. This past visit we had the steak cafe salad, which was delicious. We also split the garlic bread, which was a very smart inventive take on it, cubing the pieces which made it much more enjoyable of a bite rather than ripping apart or gnawing away at a big loaf. Service was friendly and timely. Cute place and nice atmosphere. Nicely located by the restaurants and shops.“
“I've lived in the area for 23 years. Pizza places have come and gone in that time without leaving an impression. Pizza and Stuff is honestly the best tasting pizza I've had in a while. I am outside their normal delivery range (have to order thru Doordash if I want delivery) but I will 1000% order from them once a week and pick it up on the way home. Their pizza tastes great and their staff are always friendly and welcoming. The storefront might be a bit small, but it's homey and comfortable. You can never go wrong ordering from these guys. I highly recommend them, even over much closer pizza parlors.Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate gluten free and veganWheelchair accessibility: Door is directly accessible from the street level“
“Brothers is one of our favorites, has been for 24+ years. Food is always excellent, the wait staff and guys in the kitchen are always, always so friendly and greet you with a smile. All dishes are flavorful, the atmosphere is old world charm and it's close to home for us.“
“This place is a diamond in the rough! I’ve been going to this plaza for years and it’s hard to believe I just realized recently that this place is awesome. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE CHICKEN & SHRIMP SALAD it’s really good! And the pizza is fire! This place reminds me of pizza places I used to do to as a kid in the city. Wraps and chicken tenders are awesome too!!! AND THEY DELIVER!Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4 kids, there was a handicapped man sitting near us the staff was really cool and accommodating for us and the other familyDietary restrictions: Good place to get really good protein packed salads that last a couple meals. Good for dieting the salads are amazing“
“Dave’s enthusiasm and desire to please was outstanding! Four gray haired sisters, all had delicious meals, one stating that the chicken parm dinner was the best she ever had! Don’t let the physical appearance deter you from trying this place as the food was excellent. Portions were very generous and we enjoyed pizza, 2 chicken parm dinners and 4 salads at an extremely reasonable price! We do not live in the area but would happily return for more of Dave’s delicious food.Parking: No problem parking.“
“I was waiting to try a few more things before posting… TOP NOTCH! You can tell Vinny chooses quality ingredients, and really cares about the food he puts out! Also, super friendly staff. Thanks Big Vinny’s!10/10 would highly recommend.#meatballparmwithRoni“
“The person taking my order on the phone was very calm, polite, and helpful. There are times you can call a place and be rushed and not understand the person clearly. This was not the case.We ordered the veal parmesan eggplant deluxe. Not the first time.My husband who is picky about veal likes their veal. Was very good. The salad with the house dressing was delicious.Broccoli with garlic and olive oil again very good.Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken my husband gave a thumbs up to. ( I shared my veal)Generous portions. The order was ready when we arrived.Again, it's nice to have customer service like this taking our order.Only thing they do not offer is Caesar dressing. But, their house dressing is very good! Also, the wedge of Italian bread that came with the meal was soft and also good! Everything was packed very nicely, too.Their parking lot is constantly full and there is obviously a reason!“
“This is a relaxed family owned and operated local favorite. The owners and their staff always make you feel welcomed and part of their family. The creative menu, weekly specials, and expertly crafted drink specials ensure there's always something interesting for everyone.“
“I discovered Pizzeria Posto about two months ago and I have been faithfully visiting about very two weeks! The art of pizza is executed to perfection. The dough is well balanced with flavor and texture that is just a bit chewy and perfectly crisp. To achieve this is no coincidence and you can see that Postos pizza has been perfected over years of practice. All the various pizzas are all delicious you just need to find your favorite. I learned that the owner grew up in the pizza business and even the cannolis are family recipe for the shells. The focus is on pizza here so if you’re looking for a bar scene and elaborate menu go elsewhere. You go to Pizzeria Posto if you want the very best pizza!“
“Today I treated myself to EJ's chicken francaise, which I call the Meggie Cutlets. It was nice, tender, & lemony; delicate, not overpowering. The penne was top notch, though I might have preferred a lighter marinara. Brought home some excellent specialty slices, which I've been ordering for years.“
“So I have had celiac disease for 20 years now and my sister ordered Pizza for our family yesterday. I got a Gluten Free white Pizza with broccoli and it was the best GF pizza I have ever had!!! Can’t wait to visit her again and order pizza?!“
“We had been driving for quite a while and we were too tired to cook so we decided to try Kokopelli's takeout. The Sierra chicken wrap was made with spicy grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and melted, fresh mozzarella. It was so moist and delicious with a little bit of a kick. The wrap was stuffed with lots of yummy chicken and I really loved it. The seasoned fries were also great. They were a little cold by the time I got home but I'm betting they're super good hot out of the fryer. I would definitely get this again and it makes me extra happy that it's grilled chicken and not battered and fried. The hubby ordered the Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta, and he thought it was also very good. Two huge pieces of chicken Parmesan with bread, side salad, and penne pasta smothered in sauce was exactly what the doctor ordered to recoup from that long drive. I look forward to trying other things like the wings and the Mexican food. The order was ready by the time I got there and the servers were nice. This is not a fancy place to eat...super casual like a deli but with limited seating.“
“Cute little place for a good Italian meal. We had the shrimp fra diavlo and eggplant and veal parm dinners. Excellent!! It came with a salad. Good bread. Good service. Good prices. Attentive owner. Busy place but not loud. For sure to return soon. Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you. Definitely give it a try.“
“This is my 2nd time in here and I absolutely love the pizza. It's very delicious and it's always very tasty. The owner is really nice. From the outside it looks as if it's closed . I would suggest brightening up the windows. If you plan to get pizza here you'll need to pay with cash unless he has a ATM in the restaurant. Other then that very delicious pizza.“
“True authentic pizza made with the finest ingredients and Italian dishes where you won't find no where else in this area. Originally from the bronx, they opened this wonderful restaurant up in Hopewell for all to enjoy. Kindest and hardworking family business. Highly recommend everything on the menu, in addition to the desserts sold here. A++++“
“I must say coming from Yonkers NY and trying to find a good pizza spot wasnt easy but thankfully we did and this is It!!! Period........ i also catered my daughters graduation party with this spot and EVERYTHING WAS DELISH..... COMING FROM AN ITALIAN HOUSE HOLD ONE BECOMES PICKY AND I GOT TO SAY WITH EMPHASIS THEY ARE GREAT HERE!!!! I HAVE EATEN AT THE SPOT WITH MY HUBBY AND IT WAS GOOD , THE YOUNG LADY KEPT COMING TO US TO MAKE SURE WE WERE GOOD WITH THE FOOD AND DRINKS.. ALL N ALL A GOOD EATS PLACE!!!!“
“Lets start of with their wings. It is so fresh and spicy and very very big! The pizza was better that some places in NYC and I was very impressed. They put the right amount of sauce and cheese on the their perfect dough. They cook the pizza right in front of you too! The service was really nice but, they made it quick and not too much socializing. The ambience reminds me in a hole on the wall place but, it was very clean. Definitely recommend!“
“Hey, what can I say it’s a must stop when I want some good pizza I head Poughkeepsie to Emiliano’s! Slices are big cheese is full of flavor sauce is perfect and they always reheat it the right way! My personal favorite is the broccoli rabe ! It’s definitely one of my top 10 pizza places I’ve ever eaten out of 100s definitely stop in and try it five golden forks @travelingforkBigAng“
“I don't live in the Poughkeepsie area anymore,, but I still think about this place. And it's the first thing that I look forward to when I come back.Wheelchair accessibility: It's easily accessible to handicapped people also.“
“Nice place which seems to have reliable Italian food. For someone just passing through it was a good place to stop. We had 4 main courses and were all fine. The Nona pasta with smashed meatballs listed on the menu just had sliced meatballs which was quite disappointing.Nice modern interior and very good service.“
“Outstanding ambiance and the staff was great. The food was spectacular. An unbelievable positive experience. The cauliflower pizza was to die for and the pasta and garlic bread was superb. They know their food and can prepare to any spice level desired or no spice at all.Vegetarian options: They can customize to your preference. They care about what they cook and customize to your tastes.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom was ADA friendly“
“Initially disappointed that this student/public dining hall didn't have as many exotic goodies at the ready as a bustling NYC upscale food hall, I stumbled upon one of the most well-balanced Italian combo sandwiches I've ever had. Decent corn chowder helped temper the saltiness of the cured meats.“
“Great place to go. Whether it’s pizza, sandwich or to grab some quick groceries . Very convenient and delicious food. The staff there is wonderful as well. Always friendly and service with a smile!Kid-friendliness: Staff is great and always friendly and has such good pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs“
“Vera’s Pizza truly sets the bar high, offering arguably the best pizza experience one can find. Not only are their prices astonishingly fair, but they also bring a wave of nostalgia, reminiscent of those cherished pizza parlors from my childhood. Every bite feels like a journey back in time, combining classic flavors with impeccable quality. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relive those golden days or to simply enjoy an exceptional pizza at an unbeatable price!“
“Been here a good amount of times this year. Their clams casino pie is delicious. I've also been digging their calzones alot too latley. The family that owns it are very nice and friendly. It's a nice local buisness that I would recommend to everyone. Give them a try next time you are craving Pizza/Italian food !“
“The staff was amazing. The pizza and galic knots were to die for. We asked for a specialty pizza that we've seen online and they nicely advised its a longer wait but it was worth it. I highly recommend and we live 2 hours away and we will be back! Thank you!“
“This place is open late, isn’t expensive, and is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, there’s a bunch of space to sit, and they completed our pick up order in 10 minutes. I have NEVER called a pizza place and been told the wait was only 10 minutes. For sure is one of the top places in new paltz for pizza. They even let you get single garlic knots, and don’t make you order them in sets, which is dope. My only complaint is that the garlic knots are literally just little rolls covered in raw garlic- im talking COVERED in raw garlic. As a garlic lover, it was even too much for me. Did I eat them all? Yes. But only after I scraped it off.“
“Food: 4.75 Ambiance: 4 Service: 4 The pizza is amazing! Thin crust, crispy, great flavor. 5/5! My husband got the Sabrina sandwich which was off the hook.. Crispy fresh bread, thin chicken cutlets, pesto, balsamic.. *chef's kiss*. Where I went wrong was in ordering the Thai chichen salad. I knew better, but I was in the mood for some fresh greens. Well... The "salad" was 75% noodles and heavily covered in dressing. Stick with the Italian food here, as the name suggests, and you will be happy! The place looks gorgeous on the outside. In the inside, the decor is nice and sophisticated. Deceivingly to the outside, it's got more of a dressed up bar vibe than I expected. The service was friendly and did all things right, though they seemed a bit distracted. I never knew the makers of planet wings could make such great food! I'll definitely be back.“
“ABC is a great local place that we frequent every once in a while with friends for low-key, informal dinner. The service is always great and the food is well-portioned, made fresh and a good value for the price. The atmosphere is "dated pizza place/diner" but there is a separate dining room and plenty of tables and booths. Comfortable, clean but far from fancy. They serve beer and wine at a reasonable price too...so that's a plus! It doesn't look like much from the outside but you won't be disappointed once you go in!“
“Being a local in the area, basically grew up on Domenico's pizza and I watched this place remodel and remix themselves over and over. I did prefer the old menu board where the prices and items were displayed rather two tv that don't show the prices and blink on and off. The ambiance is always the same here, a lot fellow locals BSing here and likes. So rather then the usual slice and knots I got spaghetti with red clam sauce, meatball parm Sub and fried Oreo, bread and small side salad. So the pasta was good, nothing up on that, now the sauce could had more clams or at least less garlic, more at least mince the garlic rather the large chucks. Meatball parm was delicious as I remember it, but saddened the meatballs are not the size of small softballs, because back then that was value, but I will say they do use better bread for there hero sandwich so guess that the trade off. Fried Oreos were amazing and plenty of powdered sugar on top. Side salad with dressing was alright and loaf of bread awesome like what was used to make the parm“
“This place deserves 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. They serve mouthwatering authentic Mexican dishes. Their aguas frescas and atole drinks are superb as well. I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.Starter Suggestions:Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus juice)Horchata (sweet rice milk beverage)Atole - Champurrado (like hot chocolate)Tacos (not the Tex-MEX)Sopes (great breakfast item)Tostadas (crispy corn tortilla with toppings)Tortas (Mexican style sandwich)Tlayudas (Mexican version of a pizza, if you will)Milanesa de pollo (chicken cutlet)“
“I love this place. They have great food and the workers truly go above and beyond to provide great service. I am so excited to order more dishes from this place. They have amazing dishes outside of pizza -- their sandwiches are absolutely divine in my honest opinion-- but their plethora of pizza toppings is truly what makes them stand out as one of the best pizza places in this area.“
“So glad brennies is back. The food is amazing .cheese steak sub ,stromboli, salad all awesome perfectly made .when they first opened back up had meat lovers pizza and garlic Parm wings they were the best perfect crispness and sauce was so good won't order from anyone else welcome back guys.“
“Hidden gem of a restaurant with old school Italian, Pizza and Portuguese food. Everything is made fresh to order. On site bakery with delicious pastries (make sure you call ahead for something specific). I'll definitely be back to dine in person. The owners are very nice people.“
“Food was decent, not as good as I expected. Husband's pizza was absolutely cold. Mine was barely warm. Very disappointed in that. Meals were okay, did not meet the hype I read in other reviews. The eggplant dip they give with the bread was delicious. Best part of the visit was David, our waiter. He has a great personality and is very customer-focused. He was very attentive and checked on us several times. I would go back just based on the service and atmosphere, everyone seemed friendly and down to earth. I would make sure to remind them to bring the pizza out hot, though.“
“This is my spot for Pizza. I have had other dishes from here as well and they are all good but, the Pizza is my favorite! It never disappoints. It is always consistent! The crust is perfectly cooked and crispy - not burnt. The crust is not too big and doughy! Sauce - delicious! Staff always friendly and service speed is good. Sometimes there is a little wait because they are busy but, that's not a bad thing. But, I'm talking about- when they say 20 mins they mean the full 20 mins! Never had to wait more than 5 extra mins. Just order ahead if you are in a rush- its worth the wait!“
“Came by for dinner after a long day, came here like last hour they were open, but they more then happy to take my order. I got a meatball sub and buffalo chicken sliders. My order came to me in less then 10 minutes. So the sub, the meatballs were decent size and not too big to the point I was unable to close the sub, cheese was completely melted and gooey, sauce could been less, since the bread did get soggy, and almost came apart. Now the chicken buffalo sliders , that was a experience. First the breading, looked and almost tasted like a pretzel, then the filling, plenty of chicken bits and a healthy amount of buffalo sauce. Seriously the sliders were the best, I was expecting little burger sandwiches and instead pretzel type bread with filling. Very happy with the sliders and definitely something I will get again“
“I’ve ordered from here a few times, normally their family pizza special, which has always been good ??Tonight we ordered the Philly cheesesteak , Cobb wrap, Zeppolis & Cannolis …. Everything was delicious!!!It was delivered quickly and still hot!I requested a couple of sauces on the side and everything was there , the staff including delivery driver are all so pleasant, thank you!!!!“
