“After living in the Hudson Valley for two years a methodically trying all the well regarded chefs Casa Susanna was our favorite. the server was knowledgeable and helpful without seeming snobby. The tastes - including many ingredients I had heard of but never tasted was a thrill. Every dish scored and the desserts were light and sublime“

“This is a diner. A diner diner. We enjoyed our visit and the friendly staff and other folks eating. The 4 stars is because one of our team did not care for her food, and wanted a thicker shake. The other said onion rings were soggy from old oil. The fish is fun In that they are fish logs. It was a diner. I like diners!“

“We don't have LJS where I'm from so anytime we have one near our travels, we stop. Fryers were changed before we got there and oil was not up to temp. They said it would be about half an hour and then some to then cook our fish. So we left and came back. Even though we ended up with the wrong shrimp then what we ordered, Elias and staff did everything to make the long wait right. Thank you“

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. Thanks for making my birthday “muy magnifico “!“
