“I googled restaurants offering take out in this area while visiting a friend in Haines Falls. The roasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and multi color carrots were all cooked perfectly with great attention paid to the quality of the food and its presentation. The apple crisp dessert was an amazing treat, too. It was well worth the upscale casual pricing. Very friendly staff inside the establishment. “I absolutely adored the ambiance at Deer Mountain Inn for dinner on a picturesque fall evening. The Ralph Lauren-esque vibes create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that truly captures the essence of the season. We were thrilled to find that the restaurant is dog-friendly and our dog was even greeted with a homemade treat from the chef! The food was nothing short of delicious, as were the cocktails. “We had breakfast at Day June during our stay at the nearby Henson. We ordered a classic omelette, a breakfast wrap, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Everything was tasty, especially the pancakes. They were warm and the right about of fluffy. The service was really good too, with the friendly waitress checking up on us frequently.“

“Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. “We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.
