“I went on the weekday night. Smart decision! Weekend will need to wait I think. I ordered ribeye and my friend had New York strip steak. We all love the food. One of the best steak I ever had. And he was very generous and gave a dessert on the house. This restaurant is not in my neighborhoods, but will come again when I pass by.“

“Excellent dinner at Sparkill Steakhouse. Porterhouse for 2 was prepared perfectly and very tasty and tender. Side of spinach was also great. Chopped salad for 2 was fresh and tasty. Service was great. Our server even brought us a sample dessert to try. It was tiramisu and it too was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be returning to Sparkill Steakhouse.“

“The only thing is that i would had appreciated our server telling us that we ordered too much food. The meat plate size is a really good amount. We ordered the porterhouse for 3 and all 6 of us would had eaten, but we also ordered the tomahawk for 2, and appetizers..... it was just too much.. we didnt know the size. However, the food was great, the server was nice...it was a good night. I am definitely going back. One thing thats annoying: the $20 picture guy.“

“The value was good since it was during restaurant week. We got seated quickly so that was nice but the time it took for someone to come to us, to ask what we wanted to drink, to get the drink etc etc was abnormally long for it not being that busy. The appetizer (ahi tuna) was very good! I highly recommend that! My biggest disappointment, ironically being a steakhouse, was the steak! Two orders were medium rare and it came out more rare but it was fine for us... my boyfriend ordered his medium well (shocking since he normally orders it well) got it so rare it was practically black and blue. He was embarrassed to say anything (he totally should've ) but for a steakhouse I was shocked how drastically off the steak temp was done. As far an ambience goes it was clean and very old school elegant as opposed to Morton's that's classy but way more modern.“
