Casa Rina in Thornwood has been serving good food and friendly service for over 15 years. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, making it a nice place for special events. The restaurant has spacious ballrooms for large parties, and the owner makes sure everything runs smoothly. The staff is courteous and attentive, able to handle special requests, and the food usually meets expectations. Guests recently appreciated the staff’s understanding during unforeseen delays, which made difficult days better. The menu includes a variety of dishes, such as the Melon and Prosciutto appetizer, praised as great, and well-cooked Vegetables and potatoes. Desserts are popular, and the restaurant remains a good venue for events and parties. Some visitors mentioned that the place is a little dated, parking can be tight with small lots, and the wait staff is attentive, so guests rarely wait long. The bar area has a strong smell, and AC issues have been reported in some sections. Overall, Casa Rina continues to be a reliable choice for gatherings and casual dining. Recent reviews highlight the efficient staff, excellent food, and well-prepared entrees like filet mignon special and gnocchi, which was delicious. The restaurant was bright and welcoming after a recent renovation, with flavors that impressed guests from antipasto to desserts. Visitors look forward to returning and sharing this place with family and friends.
