“Amazing Indian food!!!! The service was great and the servers were very patient and kind. The food is delicious of course. We asked for extra rice and it was given to us very promptly. The mango lassi is delicious. I wanted a little bit of spice and the server put in “mild +” for me which is just below medium- and it was the perfect amount of spice. Very accomodating. Definitely will continue to come here!
I have ordered take out from here in the past and was given 2 free sodas! Very kind owners.“

“My wife and I have been there 4 times in a row and each time have had a fantastic experience! The food , drinks, service , and the staff are excellent. It’s a very affordable place to Dine out. “We had my daughters wedding here last night. I cant say enough or praise this business. Evan was always there to help from the begining of the planning and right up to the end. even when our orginal date had to be cancelled and eventually rebooked for a year later. The venue. We couldnt of asked for more. Food was fabulous, drinks plentiful and service great. Thank you evan!“

“Great little diner on Main Street in New City. Excellent breakfasts. Try the French toast! Or the blueberry pancakes. Or pretty much everything! Good coffee in old fashioned diner mugs. Friendly staff, too. New owners since January 2025. Updated space looks great. Still good food, friendly staff, now open for dinner 5 nights.“

“Delicious food & drinks. Super friendly staff. Saturday & Sunday brunch is incredible. The place is always decorated for the holidays. We’ve been going there for years. Even though covid shutdowns, years of road construction blocking their entrance, they never gave up. They still decorated the place, had specials, and it seemed the portions got bigger & better. We’ve had some really fun parties & great times there. We support them every chance we get. Highly recommended!!!“

“I moved out of town to Duchess County and I drove down to Mohegan Lake just to go to the Applebee’s. The kitchen manager Will was amazing. He helped with my grandchildren’s specific dietary needs. Our server Anna was so knowledgeable and helpful also. I lived in Cortlandt manor for 25 years and loved going there.“

The food is a classic American Diner but the food, Atmosphere and staff make you feel like your home. Some diners almost rush you out. Here they let you enjoy your food. This place is exactly what you hope for when you’re craving real, quality pizza made by people who clearly care about what they’re serving. From the moment you walk in, the place has that classic, comfortable pizza-shop feel—warm, welcoming, and filled with the smell of fresh dough baking.
The food is the star here. The pizza has that perfect balance: a crisp crust with just the right chew, flavorful sauce, and cheese that actually tastes like something—not the bland stuff you get at a lot of places. You can tell they use good ingredients, and everything is prepared with pride. Their slices come out hot, fresh, and full of flavor every single time. We also tried a few other menu items, and everything was just as good as the pizza.
Service is fast, friendly, and genuine. You don’t feel rushed, and you don’t feel ignored—they strike the perfect balance. The staff treats you like you’ve been coming there for years, even if it’s your first time.
The atmosphere is simple but clean and relaxing, making it great for grabbing a slice, eating with family, or picking up a larger order for a gathering.

We liked the white tailed fish in the combo, melted right in your mouth. The soups were pretty good too (We tried the Tom yum and Hong Kong Wonton Soup) 👍🏽

“While I love the restaurant, and look forward to having dinner here at least once a month, I have just one complaint: after-dinner coffee is served without a saucer. Just a cup on the tablecloth. There's something so incomplete about this that it's jarring; once you've stirred the coffee, where to rest the spoon? It can only go straight onto the white tablecloth, leaving a brown stain. So, why on earth put the coffee -- and if it's cappucino, it's a $10.00 cuppa! -- directly onto the tablecloth without the saucer? I know they have saucers, because they serve afternoon tea. I have taken to bringing my own saucer. If this seems petty, order the coffee after your Bear Mountain Inn dinner and try it yourself (avoid the cappucino).
Otherwise, this is a lovely restaurant with gorgeous views across the river to Anthony's Nose, the trains hurrying along the shoreline, the lawn. Dinner -- especially the half chicken -- is usually perfection. Just get a saucer under that coffee cup!“
