“Nice atmosphere and great location and they have outside dining but they offer very little food choices, things like cheese plates etc. And it's expensive. Plus when I hear " confectionary" I think of baked deserts, and there aren't any!“

“I have been an EMRY's customer for over six months. EMRY's has some of the best food and drinks in the downtown Troy area with a really special ambiance. However- that is not the reason I am writing this review today. I noticed that over the past few days, there have been multiple 1 star reviews left for EMRY's. I just feel the need to point out that everything in these reviews in completely false. The reason I am commenting on this is because I witnessed what actually occurred while I was eating dinner on Saturday night. Those writing these negative reviews were cut off due to being too intoxicated and were eventually asked to leave the restaurant. They would not leave and made a scene, even resulting in the owner having to threaten to call the police. The staff of EMRY's handled this with tact and I did not witness any disrespect towards these customers- it seems as though they are still angry about being cut off. Over the past six months, I feel as though I have come to know the staff and the owners very well. The owners are very involved and it shows. Each time I have been there, the owner personally approaches tables in the dining room to ask patrons how their meal and experience has been, which is something that I feel has been lost in the restaurant industry. It is extremely apparent that all of the staff genuinely care about each customer's experience. Do not let false reviews stop you from trying EMRY's. It is so disheartening to see people using yelp reviews to hurt a small business, especially when those writing them were truly the cause of the bad experience. Regardless, EMRY's will continue to be a restaurant I frequent. I always recommend the Short Rib Pappardelle for an entrée- it pairs great with a phenomenal bourbon cherry bomb and hits the spot every time.“

“Just a Great Place to Eat! I've been an Albany area resident all my life and never had dinner at Barcelona prior to now. We got lucky with no reservation and were seated right away. It's a very nice atmosphere, white tablecloths and sweet surroundings. Our server Anne was superb. The orders were for chicken, clams and mussels, and scallops. Each dinner was very tasty, done just right. The sauces were excellent, no need to expound further. I hope this wasn't a freak visit. When I return I want the experience to be the same.“

“My boyfie was kind enough to treat me to a celebratory dinner after I finished a big capstone project for my Master's program. While Rosanna's takes reservations, I don't think it's entirely necessary. On arrival, there were plenty of seats available, though we also DID come on a Thursday afternoon. Our service here was so delightful! I felt that our waitress was attentive enough, but also gave us space to enjoy a romantic date night out. Rosanna's menu does change seasonally, but when boyfie and I came the night we did, we shared the snapper with tagliatelle and seared scallops with cauliflower puree. While not necessarily my all-time favorite dishes, I was very impressed with the food we ordered. The snapper was grilled to perfection. The seared scallops paired beautifully with the cauliflower. And the tagliatelle, though slightly overcooked to my liking, came with a delicious tomato wine sauce. I really enjoyed Rosanna's, and I would love to come back here again for another special occasion to celebrate!“

“From my 9 year old: This is the best place in the city, EVER. I love it so much, the food is so good and the people are so nice. It has a perfect name complimented by the water feature in the lobby. I would rate it one thousand million stars if I could. The staff is genuine and warm, just the best. I wish there were more places like this.“

“We came in at 6pm on a Friday. The bartender greeted us when we came in. Devoured the chips and salsa. We ordered the guacamole to start and the waiter made it fresh in a big mortar and pestle. So fresh and soooo good! Ordered the chicken burrito and the pieces of chicken were well marinated and grilled. So tasty. Ordered the chicken tacos and they were the "street taco" kind which we love. The portions were reasonable, the presentation was nice and the service great. We will come back.“
