ONCO Fermentations, Inc. Brewery • $
397 NY-281 Suite O, Tully

“Nice place in an odd spot. There was a fun variety of taps from classics, sours and barrel aged. Definitely some new things. Pizza was surprisingly good, with a thin crispy crust and pepperoni cups. Overall, I was impressed with the quantity and quality of everything coming out of this place. They also have a very active calendar with lots of pop-ups and live music. Their outdoor space is also nice. Definitely worth a visit.“

Heritage Hill Brewhouse Brewery • $$
3149 Sweet Rd, Pompey - 9.8 miles

“When we first arrived to Heritage Hill, we were impressed by the scenic location. They had some farm animals as well, which added to the ambiance. We visited on a cold spring day, but I'm sure it's beautiful on a warmer day or in the fall. We sat inside for brunch. I tried to order both the hot cider and the pumpkin spiked hot chocolate, but was told both were seasonal items. I went with the regular spiked hot chocolate, which was very good. We ordered the Pompey Poutine as a starter, a twist on a traditional poutine, and it was delicious- plenty of food for two people to split. I ordered the avocado toast and my husband ordered the breakfast quesadilla for our meals. My husband's quesadilla was good, but he felt it may have been better with more seasoning or a sauce. Unfortunately, they were out of the avocado toast. By the time they let me know, we had already had our poutine for a while, so I chose not to order anything else since the poutine was filling enough. They were kind enough to bring me free toast and jam and to take a beer off our bill for the inconvenience (I had the frozen oranges which was very good). Overall, I'd like to come back to experience all that Heritage Hill has to offer on a warmer day. Based on my experience, I won't get my heart set on any one menu item as they may be out. However, the scenic location, good food and drinks, and friendly staff are all reasons I'll look forward to my next visit,“
