“Stopped in Friday evening. Live music, great food and excellent staff! Monica was quick to check on us, even with a full bar of customers and Michelle made it a point to check in with us and tell her story about her father and the bar's history. Thank you and we will be back after mud season!”

“We had the best time visiting the Woodsmen’s Tavern last night! We played darts, the music was great, visiting with the bartender and owner was very entertaining and we went home with a late night snack from the kitchen which was also delicious! Great atmosphere, we will be back! 😊”

“Small town diner that serves amazing food and big portions! We stopped in after the Wild Center. We were a group of 7, had a variety of lunches, burgers were HUGE, pancakes filled the plate, their homemade bread and fries are to die for! Server was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was old style diner- these are often the best hidden gems. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back.”

“Hot food buffet and all you can eat salad bar! Need I say more? Oh yeah, groceries, huge selection of local organic produce, pastured meats and eggs - all fresh, local and organic! My favorite kombucha on tap. I can be comfortable with my kids and we can all get fed since they have a lot of gluten free and dairy free food (we have allergies to deal with). We are locals but we have chatted with a lot of vacationers and everyone seems to really love the food. Who doesn’t appreciate wholesome, fresh ingredients with no garbage fillers, gross oils or additives this day in age? I would give it more stars if I could. We eat a meal, take to-go containers for our next meal and buy produce and groceries for the whole week. With the great produce pricing and the bulk section it is the most economical way to feed my family even including the longer drive. Furthermore, it is priceless to know the farmer+chef and know the food is made in small batches right there in the kitchen - a major relief with all that’s in the news about food safety and the supply chain now. Don’t miss this hidden gem if you’re in the area! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Spending the night in Tupper Lake, found this terrific restaurant, arrived just after opening at 4:30 PM. Get there early if you’re going because it fills up very quickly, it seemed to be the place with a local eat, which means it must be good and it was.Two waitresses only but they work the room like professionals always checking on the meal how things are. Home cooking and homemade desserts well worth checking out. Shown in the photos are the country fried steak and the homemade cheesecake with raspberry sauce”

“What an awesome bowling alley. I hadn't been here since I was a kid and was glad to get to see how different it is now. There's tons of arcade games, a huge seating area to drink/eat/watch sports, lots of lanes, music, very nice atmosphere. Food was great, bowling was super affordable, lane availability was good despite the fact that there was lots of people and 2 parties booked for today. We (3 of us) played 3 games for almost 3 hours here today and rented shoes and it was only $42. Between that and lunch it was a fun, affordable place to hang out for the afternoon. We went to Big Z's in Lake Placid a couple weeks ago and paid $79 for shoes and an hour of bowling in not nearly as nice or spacious/inviting atmosphere! We will definitely be returning to Lakeview lanes from now on anytime we want to go bowling. Highly recommend!
Parking: Big parking lot with plenty of spaces, though it can fill up quickly when they are busy. Even still there's plenty of parking nearby if that happens
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! Not only can you put up the bumpers but they also had this things that allow your kiddos to roll the ball down a ramp vs throwing it that seem like a great help to kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps or anything that would prevent wheelchair accessibility as long as you have someone to hold the doors for you”

It was 7pm 2-13-25 on terrible night...but no I'm sorry we will make it right next time...just yelling and screaming from owner Connie

“Helped to handle a group of around 45 of us eat within around 25 minutes for all of us! Always great food and drinks for a cheap price, with a comfortable and modern atmosphere. I definitely recommend the five dollar meal deal, because it offers a lot of food for a very low price.”
