Bishnu and his wife have amazing hospitality and treated me like I was their family. They made my daughter’s Berry First birthday cake and did an amazing job. They made my vision come to life! “We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Best strawberry shortcake ever! The berry napoleon and red velvet cupcake were excellent as well. If you buy a cake, make sure the box is tied properly. I had a newbie and my cake box was not tied correctly. If I carried it by the string, it would have smashed to the ground. The servers could be more friendly and not so grumpy.“

“Cat is an absolute artist when it comes to anything dessert related. Recently she baked me my wedding cake and it was completely personalized and unique to all the requests that myself and my wife requested. She even personally delivered it to the wedding venue and coordinated with venue staff on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend stopping in for a variety of brownies/cookies/etc or for bigger event like a wedding cake!“

“I was craving a late sweet treat. (There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. I also ordered red velvet cupcakes. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it will be great! Thank you Layers!!🔥🔥“

“Kareem is a SAINT!! He greeted me my first time, and he has the warmest welcoming personality. Their pastries are the absolute best, and they make a bad morning better. Their cheese danish is extremely custardy, and has a soft background of vanilla. It's flakey, and falls apart when you bite it. I love their atmosphere, their employees—this location is amazing, and I've made myself a weekly regular solely from his hospitality.“

“Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“A perfect place to eat Colombian food again, even to bring bakery items from our country.
I gave it 5 stars because everything seemed good to me, although they charged me 3 fritters and only gave me 2 😅🤣🤣🤣
Oh surprise when we open the bag, I know that anyone makes a mistake, but try to be more aware of takeout orders..
For the rest, my congratulations to the waitress and the cooks.
Despite everything, I would go again, and without hesitation I would recommend it for my countrymen to go.
