The owner Benny is so personable and he was the one who recommended and made this delicious dish. “Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you want a five star experience with both food and service, go to Pelligrinos!“

“A lot of reviews about Pizza. I would be remiss if I didn't mention this restaurant has the best baked pasta I have had and I ate everywhere in NYC for 20 years. Try the baked ziti. Also the bread is from another planet, nothing else like it anywhere.“

“Quality + Value + Customer Service. John’s has been my go-to pizza spot since I’ve moved to Middletown. Gourmet GIANT slice (think buffalo chicken, bbq chicken or white slice etc) for only $4.75. I’m always full after 1 slice. I’m from NYC so have eaten at more pizzerias than I can count. John’s gets 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for a no-frills local neighborhood pizza spot!
